potchak Posted December 28, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 28, 2004 Formal on formal nights? I was hoping to go to one of the alternative dining rooms on the 2nd night on ship, but it is the formal night... I just don't want to miss anything. Nitemare Posted December 28, 2004 #2 Share Posted December 28, 2004 Yes. All except the buffet are formal.
travellady Posted December 28, 2004 #3 Share Posted December 28, 2004 I had the same question. We just completed 2 cruises during the holidays and wanted to treat our Feb sailing a little more relaxed and not do formal. We'll probably head to the buffet or do room service. Is room service on the Diamond full menu or a light menu? On Royal Carrib. it was full menu but Carnival only offered lighter fare such as sandwiches. Sunrise Posted December 28, 2004 #4 Share Posted December 28, 2004 Do the speciality restaurants do anything different on formal nights, or is thier menu the same on all nights? I am trying to figure out if it is a good idea to book the speciality restaurants on formal nights or not...
joanne1 Posted December 28, 2004 #5 Share Posted December 28, 2004 I know I have seen this before but . . . what night do you recommend going to the alternative restaurants. I think a lot of people say to go on 'French Night' but now it has been renamed to . . . ? Any suggestions?
