Kids early December

We have a December 12th cruise on the Independence of the Seas and we are bringing our 12yo daughter. She is pretty good at making friends but we are wondering if there will be many kids on the ship this time of year.

There are always some kids (just like you, many folks will take kids out of school, or they're home-schooled) but there won't be a HUGE amount. She won't be the only one.

Thank you, that is good news! She is looking forward to AO but it would not be as much fun if she did not have anyone else her age to enjoy it with.

We were on Navigator at about that time and there were maybe 10 American school age kids on board---quite a few infants and toddlers, but not many older. Actually, I was surprised by how much older the average age was for an RCI ship. There was a large group of teen girls from Argentina, but not many school age kids. Too close to Christmas vacation unless home schooled kids are on board.
