Hale Koa- not just for family

Just got off the phone with the Hale Koa and was told that they now allow you to sponser friends to stay at the hotel and not just family members. Also, she said up to 4 rooms. Just figured I'd let those who qualify know this info. Change of policy probably due to low tourism, so don't know how long this will be the policy.

Good to know - I have seen on the web site they are advertising that rooms are available both in August and Sept, I think you're right - tourism is affecting them as well. The air fares aren't helping either!

We have stayed at the Hale Koa twice and will be staying there again before our cruise in November. It is a great hotel in a wonderful location. I strongly recommend it.

Guess the downturn in tourism in Hawaii is hurting even the Hale Koa, who always used to run 95-100% occupancy. Can't wait till our 10th stay there, in January!
