Tampa after cruise question?

I am flying out of Tampa on a Monday morning, The Legend gets back to port on Sunday A.M.

 

What is a good area to stay in for just killing time on Sunday afternoon, Maby go and have a drink in the evening.

 

I am staying at the Grand Hyatt before the cruise for one night, but the location does not look that great for anything in walking distance.

 

Any help on this area?

There are some nice places right down there at Channelside that would be convenient for you. There are plenty of places to go walk around right there and you could even watch the Legend sail out that afternoon.

The Tampa Marriott Waterside and Embassy Suites are both walkable to channelside (by the pier, where the ship docks)
