dream or freedom?

Freedom was awesome, one of our favs. John Heald was also our CD, so that probably added to our fun. If given the choice between similar itineraries (ie: deciding only on ship), I would say the Dream, just to sail on the newest and best. :)

I was also on the Freedom (July 18th-26th). It was a great ship, but I would go with the Dream.

Trying to decide between the 7-day Carnival Dream or the 8- Day Carnival Freedom.........Help! Any suggestions?

If you are going Eastern Caribbean then it depends on if you like a port intesive cruise (Freedom) or more sea days (Dream).

My wife and I have enjoyed the Freedom several time, including a transatlantic last year. We are looking forward to a transatlantic on the Dream later this year. I would let the ports or number of sea days dictate the trip.

I agree. All of the ships are nice. But after a few days, you kind of get use to it. I think it's the ports and number of days at sea that make a cruise. We picked the Freedom Eastern itinerary for just that reason.

We just did the 8 day Freedom Eastern cruise in May. It was probably my favorite cruise so far. We loved all of the ports and would gladly do it again. There are just so many things to see and do.

With that being said, we have booked the Dream for next May. :)

Maybe you should do both - LOL :D

I think you will have a grand time whatever you pick. Let us know when you decide. Good luck!

Don't know when you will be cruising but I'll be leaving on the 5th for Ft. Laudrerdale for my cruise on the Freedom on the 6th. Then in January I'll be cruising on the Dream. I'll let you know how I feel about each upon my return. Of course by then, you will probably already have made your reservations. I booked the Dream last January when I returned from my last cruise and . . . couldn't wait . . . booked my Freedom cruise in March. :p
