Getting overpaid in a casino.....

I have a great story from my last CCL cruise. There was a dealer that I met on the 2nd day of the cruise who was obviously new to craps. As I approached the table no one was there and a more experienced deal was walking her through the different payouts. When I saw this I decided to play as a do better, just to be nice....she did fine. When other people came to the table, I changed to the dark side. What was funny was that she was paying my lay bets 100%. Twice I layed $50 no ten and I was paid 50. I was surprised that they didn't have a box man to monitor her. Rookies....I love'em. All dealer mistakes in my favor pay 50% in tips...

LOL....nice payoffs...Curious..Did she charge you the $2 Vig on your "No Ten" lay bets?

Craps is the easiest to set up an over pay.

On a Vegas odds table :3X, 4X, 5X

With it very busy,

Take full odd every time, must be consistant though. For example,if making a $25 line, make sure you always use $25 odds chips (usually green). If you stick a black in there occasionaly the dealers will know to look closely.

On a 3-4-5- table the pay out when the point is made is always 7 times the flat (pass line bet) when full odds are taken. The dealers will get use to paying you 7 times your bet and then mabe once per hour of so, you can place a 4X on the 6 or 8 point and get a full odds pay out. But, we warned that should your short bet end up being a loser, the dealer will see that you were short when he stacks chips and will know to keep an eye out.

This is in no way cheating. The rules allow a player to vary his bet, it is up to the house to pay correctly.

She never really asked for it, I just threw it on the table when I layed the bet. I have a feeling if I didn't put it down she wouldn't have known to ask...

If I get overpaid I will either:

1) Feed it back to the dealer in tips (if I like them)

2) Keep it (if I don't like them)

95% of the time it's option #1.

I don't feel the least bit guilty as the casino wouldn't feel the least bit guilty taking the money of an addicted gambler, drunk gambler, etc.
