montgomeryfamily Posted August 16, 2005 #26 Share Posted August 16, 2005 Canderson, your daughter Lise is very creative! I would be interested in knowing what she concocted using the passionfruit/gauva beverage, if you get a chance to ask her. If you do and wouldn't mind, could you post it on a Drink of the Day thread I've created here. That sounds like a great idea for a Drink of the Day! montgomeryfamily Posted August 18, 2005 #29 Share Posted August 18, 2005 Thanks canderson, for posting your daughter Lise's super receipe. That should definitely be a Drink of the Day on Celebrity! I agree it should be named after Lise--she deserves the credit!!
motherchic Posted November 2, 2005 #30 Share Posted November 2, 2005 enjoyed the food immensly there. One day wandered over and aside from the food offered was a small sign that offered skewered grilled jumbo shrimp and scallops, made to order. They were beyond fabulous and it seemed NO ONE knew about them. .....note to self....ALWAYS check the spa menu board !!!
CaptData Posted November 2, 2005 #31 Share Posted November 2, 2005 Are they open when you first board?
Rare Lois R Posted November 3, 2005 #32 Share Posted November 3, 2005 Hi:) I can't recall if the Aqua Spa is open after you board the ship or not. I know the Regular Buffet is open. Are you sailing on Summit? If so, you can just go forward and you will see the area where the tables and chairs are set up and you can check it out yourself;) It is located forward of the pool area. I ate in the Aqua Spa a couple of different times on my recent SUMMIT sailing....usually it was breakfast but I think I had lunch there too. It was excellent:)
garardo Posted November 3, 2005 #33 Share Posted November 3, 2005 We were on the Infinity in 2004 and we stumbled into the Spa grill the first full day at sea and had a great light lunch. The place was empty. We had the chance to talk to all of the servers and the chef. At that time we did not know that they also work in the ss United States. We had dinner there that night and we were treated like old friends. By the end of the first week, the place was mobbed. I hope the same thing happens this trip also. It is rather nice having the place to your self and the help tripping over them selves to serve you. garardo
