ballfamily Posted August 29, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted August 29, 2009 Thanks for the quick responses...we leave tomorrow - Aug 30 - from Seattle. The only thing left for us to sort out is how early we can board. Any suggestions about how early to get to Pier 91 for boarding?
FredS Posted August 29, 2009 #5 Share Posted August 29, 2009 remember that departing passengers are not all off until about 10 AM then the crew has to clean and prepare all room for embarking passengers. If there is a delay with disembarking passengers then that pushes everything else back in time. Some times you can get on around 11:30 or at least start the check-in process. I think Princess states 12:30 but they have let it start before that.
hawk1972 Posted August 30, 2009 #6 Share Posted August 30, 2009 We arrived at the Star on Aug. 16 via a Princess shuttle bus from Sea-Tac at about 12:10 and were able to get right on the ship with very little trouble through the pier. Two of our bags were already at our room and it was ready. We were able the drop off a few things and go up to the Lido deck for lunch and then explore and enjoy the sunshine until sailaway. Our other two bags arrived by about 2:00. The whole process was smooth as silk.
