Wow, Celebrity softdrink package...

First time in a looooong time I'm thinking of skipping the soft drink package on our two night cruise.

$29 near enough, for a two night cruise, so in reality I'm on the ship just over a day, won't board till late, (damn work) on Friday, all day Saturday, off Sunday morning.

Nowme and Diet Coke, I can usually do a pretty good job of smashing a package, but this one looks tough.

Bring a few cans.

Last time I sailed celebrity ( in fact only time to date) $8 (and maybe some cents) now about double that.

Yep, both RCL and Celebrity are ramping up the charges.

I was really surprised from about 8 to 14 in under three years. $ has dropped a bit, so maybe $10, but $14+.

I'll probably end up buying the package, and doing it justice, I was just stunned by the price.
