Divina Yacht Club -- Free Drinks Ship-wide! Since we are sailing, I haven't been reading the boards, so this info may have already been posted.

We are currently on the Divina April 1st sailing. I'd read accounts of complimentary drinks extended beyond the "walls" for this sailing, but when we got our final documents, they stated just within the Yacht Club. When we were escorted to our stateroom the butler gave us a quick tour and showed us the lounge, pointed the way to our pool deck, and briefed us on the contents of the mini fridge. All our drinks in these areas were free. No mention of drinks on the rest of the vessel.

We were early for dinner last night, stopped at the Garden Bar, and ordered a drink. The barman took our card, but when he brought the drink said there was no charge because we were in the YC. So just to be sure we stopped by another lounge after lunch today, and sure enough, no charge again. So I guess this makes it official. : )

AND BY THE WAY, the included drink selections have been expanded with a lot more choices. I will post photos of the menus.

Great selection of tequilas, rum, vodka and wine. Makes the wait till our june 2018 cruise on seaside unbearably long. Had 2017 already booked on rccl. Because of rccl to releasing their 2018 itineraries so late, we decided to look elsewhere.

Read about msc match and booked 4 weeks on the seaside yacht club. Pricing being comparable to what rccl is charging for a balcony room made the decision a no brainer. From what i have been reading about msc yacht club, i thinkbi will surely like our cruises on seaside.

Is there any booking bonuses for booking your next cruise onboard? I tead that there was an option to pay $10 for a certificate that would get you upto $400 obc for yacht club but i believe that program has been discontinued. Any program reolaced it?

Nice, I don't see any asterisks. Perhaps for YC only or same menu all over the ship?

The YC has it's own bar list,( unless they have changed the concept when they went ship wide), which is vastly different to the general bar list, with a free section and an added cost premium section.

NO asterisks on the YC list

It'll be interesting to see the general bar list now, I wonder if they will have a different symbol for YC guests?

Thanks for posting. Is there an extra charge in the YC for the premium spirits and cordials?

There is no additional charge for any of the items in the menu I posted. My Makers Mark drinker is very happy.

We are eating lunch downstairs today. I'll take photos of the bar menu and post this afternoon.

Okay, I know this is a bit of a silly question, but under soft drinks, that menu posted had Coke, Sprite, Dr. Pepper, etc. But no diet versions. Is Diet Coke available? I would presume that it is, but it's strange not seeing it listed.

Yes. I have seen Diet Coke. I'm a club soda drinker and it's not listed either, but is available also.

marti2282, so the question is: If you order a drink at a non-YC venue that is asterisked on their menu, but is free on the YC menu, are you charged? Basically, are you getting premium drinks for free at non-YC venues?

Thank you! I figured that would be the case, but it's strange it wasn't listed. Most places have ginger ale and tonic water as well, even if just for mixing with alcoholic drinks.

...Good evening!...

Permit me just a few questions if they weren't answered elsewhere on those YC full ship drink threads: What else is included ship wise from the specialty coffees menu, only the "simple" drinks like espresso, capuccino, etc., or even those "fancy" coffee delights, like moccacinos, chococcinos, etc? And from the pastry and gelato shop? What's included?

Thank you very much! Have a good day, a nice weekend and a wonderful sailing!... :)

I'm sorry, but we didn't go to the coffee bar. Just had our cappuccino in the Top Sail Lounge each morning. Perhaps someone else on this sailing will come forward and answer for you.

Thanks so much for your reports. Love the Divina YC and looking forward to our January sailing on Seaside.
