  1. I couldn’t find the photo with the much smaller balcony, but when I saw it, it made a huge impression...do you think it was just the angle of the photo?
  2. Stay away from deck 6 on S class(tiny balcony)...I would check on where the spider is located too. Personally, decks 11 and 10 are my favorite, depending on the window-washer; no worries about it on E class, but I still prefer 10 and 11.
  3. I always try and write a lot of information down in my C C notebook. After all these years, it has quite a few dividers. Even with all of this, I tend to forget a few things, not to mention go back and revisit, along with updating some information. I am very thankful for all those people who have taught me so much! When I bought my RCCL shares, 100 were for me and 100 for my DH, but in my account; I did sell half of them due to my nature of profit-taking. aAl of us have our own ways of using CC, not to mention have all been newbies. ~Many Thanks!
  4. I forgot to add...just don’t make up the answer, as seasoned cruisers do have an extensive knowledge base about cruising. Yes, there are so many companies where customer service is a huge issue, not just cruise lines. Well, hopefully things will improve with customer service, leaving us with fewer issues to resolve.
  5. How is your TP? Had to cancel this and the following.
  6. That has my DH and I all over it! Yes, blog information and photo!
  7. We loved these suites on S-class and have so many fond memories. neither one of us ever ran into a pole, but just learned to like them!
  8. Errr...my biggest pet peeve about Celebrity...training. If one doesn’t know an answer, ask a supervisor or look it up!
  9. I love when this automatically happens, not to mention Celebrity following their own rules. It is just so refreshing to be treated well, along with a great feeling about booking!
  10. I have done a lot of homework on Oceania; first cruise isn’t until May, 2025. My thoughts are consistently changing, but a clearer picture is forthcoming. Will this be the first and last, or a more formidable relationship in the making? Honestly, I have no idea, but that’s where my leap of faith begins. It will be a unique experience, on a much smaller and newer ship. Also, it will get us from point A to B without flying. The price was very good for a PH, not to mention sometimes one just has to venture out into another cruise line and personally see what happens. Entertainment is not necessary for us, but nice if appealing. Food is always subjective. My DH and I are anything but the norm, so there is no way I can predict what will happen; however, it will give us the opportunity for growth and possibly a very nice and relaxing cruise. If not, spending time in Portugal, especially Algarve, should be an excellent experience, hiking the trails near the coast. So, I cannot get a decent iced-coffee? How about iced-tea? Does O have half and half, or can we bring it onboard? Just a few little questions...
  11. Thanks Jim for sharing lots of information about your upcoming trips and Zenith, along with everything else! Your information is very valuable!
  12. There are so many factors for the pricing of cruises, couple that with the ship, itinerary, cabin/suite etc. There is no real way to compare unless apples to apples. If you feel like you are getting a great deal, most likely you are, not to mention sometimes it is just not good to keep looking at pricing. My itineraries are on newer ships going to or from Europe, so pricing is higher. Then there is the air factor, coupled with cabin class. Just a lot to consider nowadays. However, if it is what you want and can easily afford, just go for it! Life is way too short as it is..., but do not forget insurance! I am just in a holding pattern for now...also, the stock is high, so don’t purchase now, but a good way for extra OBC. I actually sold my stock and it almost paid for a suite. It was a result from my post above, but not a knee-jerk reaction. ~Safe travels wherever you go...
