  1. I Hope EJ resists the all prevailing industry urge to pack em in. Everyone I am reading so far are enjoying less than full pax loads. That always makes it nicer for those onboard. We have sailed most of the lines and have watched all of them go the "bigger is better" route. Even tiny SeaDream went from 98 passengers to the current 112 on the same ships. Viking has been our most recent "fave" but they are now so popular that they fill the ships most cruises. I love the style and size of Viking but they need to sail with a couple of hundred less. EJ rilled to capacity will not have the feel expressed by many here.
  2. Glad to see you taking your medicine....🍹
  3. That’ll get you top marks.πŸ₯ƒ
  4. Another good reason to never wear those key cards lanyards. The jewelry hawkers can yank you in and swipe your room card with one slick motion. That Tanzanite will show up on your account before you get back onboard. And don’t even think about going by the Red Onion Brothel.😱🚒
  5. Once carried 28,000 cases of Olympia Beer to St Paul in the Pribiloff Islands. The citizens rated me a perfect 10.🍺🍺🍺🍺
  6. Glad I worked tankers and freighters. Can’t imagine how crabby passengers would have rated me.😱πŸ₯ƒ
  7. We always seem to take too much. Also have done Alaska in carryons, one for 15 days. And I never take jeans. Just take up too much space and too much drying time if you do laundry. Travelsmith and others have great travel pants with secure pockets which pack very small and wrinkles hang out. Wear your big comfy walking shoes on the plane as well as a weather resistant jacket. Cruise season in Alaska is cool to warm but rarely cold. I ran ships up that way years ago all year round. There is a reason cruise season is when it is.🍷
  8. would they all be filing US tax returns?
  9. Buck, Thanks for posting a very well done comparison. Having sailed both lines we agree with all your points, How's that for rarity? We have given up Regent for a very puzzling problem with Regent Air. At their price point it should have never happened. Next for us is trying Explora Journeys. πŸ₯ƒ
  10. Both are very diluted with added shares
  11. Clay, Your well spoken post about how you loved the relationships with the crew put it exactly as I also feel. That's why we have gone back for more. Guess yall will just have to go home and plan the next one. Safe travels and thanks for the memories.
  12. Haven't you ever heard of lawyers billing more than 24 hours per day?? Have to think it's the same principle. But then modesty prohibits me bragging on my cruise total....🍸
  13. I have also enjoyed very much your post and pix. I think it is true @skygetsitall because the Neptune thread seems to have sailed off into the Bermuda Triangle or some other disappear place....
  14. Yeee Hawwww!! Sign me up.πŸ₯ƒπŸ·πŸΈπŸš’😎
