There is an out door grill, I don't remember the name, the burgers were great! I made them mad because I requested that they let the cheese melt on the burger, but they were excellent. don't tell my wife because she has no idea how many i ate.

Walk along the boardwalk / beach, there is a statue of the couple kissing from the play Anything Goes. Visit the museum (free) lots of interesting facts about the port. See the Sangiorgio Hotel across from the beach. Great rooftop restaurant with entertainment. Loads of shops on the Main Street. Also the gelato places along the beach are very nice.

I agree with you! ;)
OP. I forgot to comment on the following.
My mothers solution to the dining room chairs was to take a small pillow or roll up a hand towel to put behind her back when dining. She would stick them in a cloth bag.
I am really surprised that you found the bedding so uncomfortable. We will be on the Silhouette in another year, so hopefully, the bedding will be replaced by then. It's been a couple of years since we previously sailed her and had no problems. Never had torn sheets, and never had a blanket on a cruise. Have always been able to ask for upgraded pillows.
Next time: Ask the wait staff for a pillow for your chair. It should be there each night after that. My mom and I are short and always ask for pillows the first night.

Captain Avarapolous (sp?) and Alejandro on EQ 2 yrs ago were hilarious!!! They cracked each other up so much! I laughed so hard!

We order coffee and juice each morning on our cruises...no taking pills in public at breakfast is nice!
-
The beer fridge that once was in Michael's is no longer anywhere.
The beer fridge on Equinox I s in Gastrobar. Craft beers sold there. Where cellar masters used to be on EQ.

Yes, that is the same Esperanza. She was CD on IN when I sailed in February.
Bruce
She was in Equinox last summer.

We did X tour, Nice, Eze, Monaco and it was wonderful. Palace, tomb, casino, free time, lunch in Eze - had a great guide, beautiful weather and lovely people. Looking forward to the race coverage this weekend to see the famous turn again. The yachts in the harbor, the views... [emoji3] !

Yes! We have used them and had no issue. Take them on shore excursions too for heading back to port and if in a market area and we get separated. They have come in handy.

I have the Belkin and also love it. Try a Halo portable charger with three connectors/cords attached. Will charger 3 devices at once. Additionally their is a swiveling extension cord called Quirky which lets 6 awkwardly shaped chargers fit into 1. It bends to form a shape that allows your various chargers to fit. Has a surge protector too. Comes in large and mini versions.

Hi there,
So glad you are looking forward to your time in Michael's. We have recently come off Equinox and Michael's was a favourite place for us.
Water, drinks.... Available all day and up until midnight (not that we ever lasted that long). Water and some sodas were always on the bar as a 'help yourself'. As penthouse and royal suites now have these complementary in their suites they did not go too fast.
As Luminae is now up and running Michael's does not provide breakfast or any substantial food. What it does have, however, were some really tasty little four section canopies. We only experienced Thes once or twice when we popped into Michael's for an afternoon drink after being off the ship. They were great if you needed something tasty but did not want to spoil your evening dinner.
We also stopped by in Michael's some sea day mornings for coffee and a Bellini. We were offered croissants or Danish pastries but never asked for them. Remember you can have breakfast in your room if you wish.
Have a great cruise and enjoy Michael's club.
Was Alex the bartender? He's great! So is Milli the concierge!

I've never done this on X - set the code beginning of cruise and open close daily with same code. Open then clear it upon disembarkation.
-
I have been on 10 X cruises and only locked passports, wallets, jewelry in the safe. I too leave tablets, phones, cameras out in chargers or in a drawer. We've never had a problem with theft. Have had to have the safe deactivated by security and then we reactivity with new code. Sometimes if you enter the code wrong the keypad locks up and won't clear. Easy fix by maintenance and then you can reset it with another code.
Do always check under the cloth liner in the safe... DH's passport got slid under it once.

Happy Birthday birthday buddy- mine is today too.

The Lavazza coffee is very good. I just ordered k cups for my Keurig coffee maker. So glad I can get it on ship as well as home!

There was a very short older woman wearing a swimsuit and a winter parka yelling" There's no chocolate cake"chocolate cake!" My husband just about dropped his lunch. See what I mean, 13days of it.....
We had an older lady at n one cruise in full spa regalia including a bathing cap asking if this was the way to the spa... We were going n the Sky Lounge!
-
I like the piano lounge too... Additionally, thasso pool on all class ships!
-
No more midnight chocolate / desert buffet or grand buffet in MDR.
-
Boom - Boom was our bartender at the martini bar on Mercury.
-
The midnight chocolate buffet!
-
It was just a nice perk to avoid the lines. I wasn't being uppity or snobbish.
-
When we tendered last year in Italy - we were escorted by Milli Michael's club concierge directly to tender. Nice perk!

Try a Belkin adapter. You can find them at Amazon.com. There are 3 U.S. Outlets and 2 USB outlets in one unit that fits into 1 outlet. Very good for charging multiple ite,s at once.
