We did it. Boring but it was a cheap and easy way to transfer to Venice. We got dropped off at the airport and took a water taxi to Venice from there.

I got there at 11:15 and basically walked right on the ship!!!🙂

Does anyone know for sure if you can use a Starbucks giftcard on the Viva? I can get one with some credit card points I have and wanted to be sure I could use it on board. Thanks.

Just stay away from any doors that open out to the main hallway area of the ship. Constant noise from the opening and closing. Other than that - Prima Studios are awesome...

On my recent cruise that left from Barcelona and ended in Trieste we had to pay VAT while in Spanish waters on any purchases made. Once we left Spanish waters - there was no VAT added. However our cruise stopped in Montenegro and it is not a member of the EU yet which I believe is why we only had to pay it in Spanish waters. -
Passport Renewal - it's been 12 weeks so far

My passport renewal application was accepted at the passport agency on March 22 - regular service not expedited and I received my new passport May 5th. -
The Prima's studio rooms are designed even better than on the previous ships - lots of storage and the bathroom has been redesigned and is very nice!!! Also the solo lounge has a self-serve soda station, beer & wine station as well as the awesome coffee station.

It was available in February. Most bars had it. Occasionally I was told they didn't have it. I ordered it in the restaurants and got it as well. NO upgrade needed. They will pour it out of the can for you though - it is not on tap. They will not give you the can.

The Star's thermal suite is nice!! Nice quiet and very relaxing.

And don't rebook online... Get a PCC!!!! It makes life so much easier when you need to contact them.

Yes that it how it worked for me. Got my flight info today. Flying out late Monday night arriving Tuesday morning for a Thursday cruise (2 day deviation). I was able to go on to the Icelandair website and upgrade/choose my seats as well.
