Thanks for the update. I won’t rent from the downtown ones. Too many bad stories on them. Worst case is we will just pay for a Uber/taxis

Anyone recently had any experience with the rental car shuttles back to MIA post cruise? Wanting to know if Hertz or Alamo is back to running them.

I always book separate. If you get Royal upgrade bid to a suite with included internet it’s easy to deal with.

We leave in 2 weeks for symphony. Received a Royal Up to Crown Loft so we are excited!

I never claimed or said anything about you saying it’s not fair and special treatment…. I was stating the conversation I overheard on our last cruise. So settle down Becky lol

Exactly! On our last cruise overhead a conversation at check in that it was not fair they weren’t upgraded and had to accept the cabin assignment. He even had to add but I’m diamond plus and should get special treatment BS. Haha

people just like to complain…. We have never had a bad experience. Keep a open mind that it’s not a 5 star restaurant and enjoy.

Please show up at the port unvaccinated and report back to us when you aren’t allowed on the ship and how Royal took your money and it’s so not fair…..

All it would take is a couple security guards to say sorry to wait outside in the parking lot till your time. No shade, no water, no help. The point would be made and word would get out over the next few sailings and I bet it would stop. I’m so sick of the rules don’t apply to me type people! I’ve also thrown peoples stuff in a pile on the ground on the last 3 cruises due to chair saving at the pool. I just have no tolerance and really don’t care anymore. Haha

Unfortunately people are just showing whenever they want and ignoring their time slot. People just seem to think the rules apply. Royal doesn’t seem to care and is letting people get in line so might as well do away with the check in times all together or make people sit outside in the sun until their time slot and people might not show up once word gets out.

Looking at booking Odyssey as this is about the only class of ship we haven’t been on. We usually book on a hump or near the rear elevators but I know the layout is completely different on this class. Thoughts of best location? There are currently some cabins on the rear area that sits further out then the center cabins. I do know we don’t want the obstructed view deck 6 cabins.
