Daughter kept me company on the sofa last night. She was prepping for a colonoscopy. 7.30pm “mum, I don’t think this prep is working” 9.00pm “mum, do I ring the hospital in the morning to cancel because this is not working” 10-11pm “Omg. This is the worst” DH took her to the hospital this morning for the procedure.

Had my surgery yesterday to widen the margins after the surgery last month to remove the melanoma. Highlight of the day was the wonderful care by the nurses and the delicious raisin toast post op. Haven’t had raisin toast for years (like someone on this thread, no-one in my family likes raisins or sultanas)
