  1. why do you believe this is a sold-out sailing? edit... nevermind, I now see on HAL site
  2. does anyone know if there are open courts during the day? is it a dedicated pb court, or shared use (with basketball maybe)? is there any type of reservation system, or first-come/first-serve? thx
  3. The Signature package is the one with all beverages (both alcoholic & non-alcoholic) counting toward the 15 daily limit. The Elite package is as 0106 describes.
  4. We'll be on the Nieuw Statendam, and found the same thing (unable to make reservations for the 14th).
  5. Thanks hrhdhd. Your arrival time sounds about right (we'll have 4 ships)
  6. Capt_BJ, that's exactly what I'm concerned about. Thanks for sharing (I'll look for your other post). Port traffic looks fairly light in mid-Feb, and if I get to the port at around 10:30 hoping to be ok
  7. I've scoured this forum, and have found many recommendations for parking & explanations of the embarkation process. But I haven't found answers to the following specific questions (I aplogize if I've missed something and/or am posting this question in the wrong place). I prefer to park at the port (Palm Garage, assuming I'll be leaving from Terminal 26), but am very concerned about the lot filling up (and then having to scramble for alternative parking). Has anyone had any experience with this lot being full, and having to park elsewhere? And, related, are there specific times of arrival on embarkation day (Saturday) that would make parking easier or help to ensure parking space availability? Also, I've read that the parking garages officially open at 10:30; but am hoping for someone's actual experiences. I've looked at the port schedule to see how many ships (& their capacities) are sailing on and immediately prior to my sail dates, but I don't have any sense at all of what percentage of passengers drive & park at the port. Any insight that can be offered is much appreciated. Thanks.
  8. Thanks montythecat; I'm excited by the music options.
  9. Thanks vicd1969. I think I read that the Tamarind Bar is available to passengers even without restaurant reservations? I appreciate the internet connection suggestion too.
  10. Thanks Crew News. Those look like great spots; any thoughts on how often they're available (probably on port days only?)
  11. Thanks Banditswife; that is a great review (I've added to my favorites so I can review more in depth later)
  12. I'm new to HAL, and will be sailing on the NS in a few months (2/11/2023, Caribbean, departing from FLL). I love to get input from experienced travelers, especially regarding their favorite spots onboard. We enjoy food, drinks, entertainment, quiet, sun (probably in that order), and I'd appreciate hearing from others some of your favorite places on the NS. Thank you all so much for the feedback.
