  1. I found that too but thought it was due to them somehow not including the 3rd passenger in the initial quote as it would jump up by 50% when you try and go through. But maybe not if you're having the same issue
  2. I find children to be far more environmentally aware than adults! My son is only 3 and he would never do that. First off he knows littering and throwing things he can't pick up is wrong, but also he'd want to play with it. Even a toddler possses the logic to know they can't play with something they throw overboard.
  3. Great review so far, your girls look so sweet in their dresses. I'm getting a 'herding cats' vibe from your side so far, I hope you get time to relax!
  4. I don't think I've ever seen anyone walking around in a robe. Usually I'd put on my swimwear in the cabin under my normal clothes (or a beach cover up if its hot) and then strip poolside. There's also poolside toilets you could just change in. On a hot weather cruise I have been known to do the soggy dash back to my cabin with just a towel over my swimwear!
  5. It's an American thing. On a FB group I've seen people getting hundreds of these things custom printed with a band logo which is so incomprehensible to me because 1. It must have cost them, 2. Not everyone likes the same band as you, and 3. WHY As the owner of a young child, bath toys that are squeezy with a hole in them are a breeding ground for black mould as the water can't escape once it's inside. So these things are no good for young kids even! I guess my son would be happy to find one and I'd let him play with it but not in water. On NCL they have grab machines with ducks in various designs so maybe that's where the idea originated- people won the ducks and then rehid them around the ship? My mum crochets (with real wool) small toys and leaves them in local parks for children, I know people paint rocks and leave them to be found and rehidden. Much more environmentally friendly versions of this game!
  6. Thank you all! Great to know as a bath makes it a lot easier with a little one. Looks like it's the whole of D deck and some of E. We went for the cheapest grade (as there was a large price difference) which is fw/aft D, so here's hoping to not be above a noisy bar
  7. Hi, Do the superior deluxe balcony cabins on Azura all have bath tubs please? I watched a few youtube videos and they all seemed to have one, but it's not indicated on the deck plan. Just need to know if we need a blow up bath for the little one or not!
  8. We've stayed in the Ben and Jerrys cabin. Yes it was noisy! We were only on a 3 nighter as 2 adults, it's a great cabin but I wouldn't want it for a longer cruise or with kids. Didn't see anything dodgy personally but you can see into the opposite cabins so care needs to be taken.
  9. I'm fairly new to Royal- we've only done a mini cruise on Indy a while back but booked to go on Oasis. Does JR get very busy for breakfast if its free? Just thinking about options that might be easier to manage with a toddler than the windjammer? Or is it crazy busy with long waits
  10. Hope you are off soon! I've not actually done a fly cruise with P&O but I assume its a P&O charter so you don't need to worry about missing the ship? Or is it an overnight in Barbados job
  11. Glad you are having a great time Vampiress. We changed our Iona cruise to Arvia next year as it looked to have even more on offer for little ones (as you know mine is only 2!) Are they showing any kids films in the cinemas? I was thinking it might be a good time for a trial first cinema experience for him, seeing as its free!
  12. You can ask for a travel cot and baby bath for your cabin. I did this for my sister when we sailed with her and her toddler. You could also consider taking a small blow up paddling pool to put in the shower, we do this for my 2yr old as he hates the shower. At 15 months they won't be eating baby food/mush still. Plenty of choice in the buffet for toddler friendly finger food, soups, pasta etc. You also won't need to sterilise at that age, but you could take milton tablets if you really want to.
