i believe they are only doing test cruises because they don't think they can make the 95% threshold with families. but they will absolutely require vaccines from eligible passengers.

 get a day bed. by far my favorite.

Let's be clear. The government is not telling anyone they need a third shot. The company, that did not take any incentive to create the vaccine, who created the vaccine is telling everyone that there will most likely be a booster to defend against variant cases of a pandemic virus.

Pfiezer has no affiliation with the US government. They are just a skilled company that, you know, created a defense against a foe that has killed more people world wide since the 40's

Yep, we do not have the supplies here in Canada like in the US, so they have decided to push back the 2nd dose later so more can get their 1st dose.

 

Exactly.  I know a bunch of countries pushed back the 2nd dose to 3 months.  I think we Canadians are the only ones who got it pushed back to 4 months after the 1st dose.

 

Good for you Ken.  It is an awesome feeling.  We paid off our mortgage a few years ago and celebrated by taking the family on a New Year cruise and mini-vacation in San Juan with the extra money we were no longer using to pay the mortgage.

there's also a difference between provinces.  I just got my 1st Pfiezer yesterday and they booked my second one 5 weeks out....

most bars stay open. Even the casino bar was open, in San Juan, last time I sailed.

I think first time out, I would definitely go with the MDR, Solarium bistro and any of the complimentary eateries.

If you decide you want to partake in a "higher" end establishments then get one while on board or on embarkation, where you can usually get one at a pretty good discount.  Also, there is most likely a Chef's dinner available.

We usually grab that or Wonderland on the first day, at a 40% or 50% discount.

The 5 drinks anytime is a game changer for me.  My wife doesn't drink, so I usually take hers. So, 10 drinks anytime becomes my new Alcohol package.  Win Win!

So happy it’s the NOS. Been wanting to sail this ship for a while. 

My wife and I had been on the Mariner 3 times prior to the referb and she sailed it just after the reno was done.  She told me it was just as amazing but the add-on's were a bonus and were very refreshing.  She had no negatives about her cruise. Trust me, that's high praise since her favorite ship is Allure.

We have a B2B on December 12th and 18th, 2021 They sent out the survey only for the 18th.

I'm pretty sure there is no order in the cruise that they pick.

I thought the guy, don't know his name, on Symphony was the best one that i have seen. ( i've been to Wonderland on both Harmony and Symphony)

He had striking resemblance to Johnny Depp and he was amazing. He also did the morning windjammer announcements.

I always bring something on board. we drink it the first couple of days and then buy the alcohol package. We always get the refreshment package at a discount and then I upgrade 2 or 3 days into a trip.

Portofinos was by far one of my favorites.  I have never had a better Tiramisu to this day.

Everything else looks identical to the other ships.  Spectrum has a different design up and behind the Solarium, but the Odyssey looks just like OV, AN & QN.

To me, it looks like those openings are there. You can see indentations located, in the photo, where the openings are normally located.  I believe they are just covered.

ugh, my December 21 cruise hasn't budged since i L&S'd to it.  Stuck at $90 cdn - for the 6 night cruise and $95 for the 8 day cruise....

This was our last kids free in a suite. Booked in the summer.  First time I've ever seen it truly free. So it does happen once in awhile.
