You don't need to switch to a Travel agent to book great personalized tours. On over 20 cruises in Europe, we met people on our cruise using the Cruise Critic link to Celebrity Roll Calls - Cruise Critic Community. You can find it at the very top of the first page of these Celebrity posts. Through this link we met people who were on our sailings and started the process of researching the private tours we were interested in. Usually the bookings were for groups of 6 or 8.

I'm making the asssumption that since you're mentioining flights out of Newark and Dulles you're referencing the "friendly Skys". In the past, we have always flown from IAD to FLL the day before a cruise. Our plan for this coming January 3rd Beyond sailing was to fly on Jan 1st instead of the 2nd but now have concerns about travelling New Year's Day. Appreciate any recommendations. Thank you.

It's a 5 nighther and 7 nighter back to back and the 12 nights is what is so concernining.

I was just starting to feel comfortable about our back to backs on the January 3rd & 8th Beyond sailings and the OP's detailed post has me, once again, re-thinking about the safety measures in place to finally feel confident about cruising again!!!

Based on all the posts I've read, I am realizing that more and more. Let's hope in the next few months "someone" in Celebrity Management realizes there has to be a better resolution!!

Call me skeptical but, since Luminae can accommodate 120 and 106 Luminae guests were on board, it has been my experience to notice on countless cruises...that tipping can go a very long way to get what you want whether your are or aren't entitled to it!!

Based on the behavior you reported, the way you were treated and basically dismissed, I think it is very appropriate to escalate this in writing to Celebrity higher management. You paid for a Penthouse suite with the expectations you would very much enjoy your accommodations. You did not expect your cruise experience to be ruined by passengers who behaved like trash!!!

Personally I think...you are the one "underthinking it". Why should the couple booked in the Suite, be expected to pick up the tab for other two couples?????

What I've learned from this entire thread is....DO NOT EAT IN THE SPECIALTY RESTARANTS. NOT WORTH THE DIFFERECES AND ANGST IN BOTH QUALITY FROM SHIP TO SHIP OR FROM RESTAURANT TO RESTAURANT. Instead, we will now be very happy to eat all our dinners in BLU during our January back to backs.

If Celebrity's policy is to now blatantly lie (Ryan) to Passengers to cover-up the number of Passengers who had contacted Covid while on their Ships, their credibility on how they are handling Covid contamination is very concerning.

While we don't have an Indulge package, we do have a $250 OBC from our TA for our Aquaclass booking in the January 8 BEYOND sailing. I will also be very upset if we can only use the credit in the Spa!

Most concerned if we couldn't stay in our AQ balcony cabin if we had to isolate. I can't imagine not being able to sit in the fresh air!

The more I read all the posts about quarantineing, the more concerned I am about or January 3rd & 8th back to back on the Beyond. These will be our first sailings after 5 (last one was for yesterday on RCI t Oasis to celebrate our 55th Anniversary with entire Family of 16) cancellations and we're countng on January to be stressless back to cruising experience.

I would rather not have a refund and remain "a paying" customer in the Balcony cabin I paid for to sit outside and get some fresh air while in quarantine!

When are yiu sailing? If it is during the Thanksgiving or Christmas holidays there might be more children on the ship.

If I payed for a balcony, I woud expect to stay in a balcony and not be moved to accomodate quaranteed new crew!!!.
