I've never sailed Celebrity and I don't do Caribbean but my tip is to cross pack (assuming you are not going solo). Put half your stuff in your travel partner's checked bag and he/she will put half their stuff in your checked bag. That way if one bag is lost or delayed, you will have at least a few outfits. Don't forget to take patience and a sense of humour! Enjoy your cruise.

A couple of thoughts .... It's easy to get from Amsterdam to Rotterdam, as a matter of fact, the train station is at the airport and runs often, don't let the travel from one city to another deter you. This past spring we took a cruise from Rotterdam, flew to Amsterdam and took the train to Rotterdam then a cab to our hotel the day before the cruise. Our hotel was a short walk to the ship. I guess you have to chose between a short visit to Norway or a stop in Edinburgh. As to option #3, since it appears to be 2 7 day cruises B2B, you could take only 1 cruise and spend more time in the Netherlands before or after your cruise and still not be away from work for too long. You could spend several days in Amsterdam, there's so much to see there, do a few day trips to other areas and still get to Rotterdam for the cruise. Lots of decisions.

Merry Christmas to those that celebrate. Thanks for the Report. A mild Christmas for us, today's forecast high is 10°C (50°F) normal is -2°C (28°F). It's foggy so Rudolph must have helped Santa last night. I didn't make a pumpkin pie, sometimes a whole pie is too much for just the two of us. But I baked coconut jam tarts and butter tarts (with pecans). Interesting quote. Today's menu is turkey breast (cooked in the crock pot), mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce (from a can) and a veg. Plus tarts for dessert. And wine of course! Prayers for Peace on Earth. Maybe you should try another cruise line, there are lots to chose from. Or, cruise somewhere other than the Caribbean, we love the Mediterranean.
