  1. "but most people simply want to get back to normal. " Sadly, my 28 year old cousin won't ever get back to normal as he died within days of getting Covid. Your attitude is either very selfish or misinformed. What is it that you do not understand about the fact that over 200,000 people have died of Covid in the UK alone. Wearing a mask and testing is hardly onerous.
  2. I'm sure that it probably correct but 2 jabs + a booster could be considered 'a series' as it's 'the norm' here in the UK. So hardly a watertight legal definition and therefore ambiguous.
  3. I've just discovered that Princess require another Covid booster if our last one was more than 270 days before the cruise. Here in the UK we cannot get another booster until later in the year so what are we supposed to do? Has anyone had confirmation from Princess that this IS a requirement? How are others meeting this?
  4. Be careful though. If they count 3 days as 72 hours before departure. I have read reports (not princess) of people being turned away at the ship because they had tested 74 hours before departure even though it was still 'three days'. W e probably need to find out what Princess policy is for definite.
  5. Thanks T4TS but query is academic now as have booked on Princess with a balcony, drinks package, wi-fi and tips included for a lot less that this Fred cruise.
  6. Your husband wore a dress? 🙂
  7. As I said I cannot select specific allergies (Sheep's milk products, crayfish, cherries) in the app. The web version has a comment area where i could list those, except it doesn't work.
  8. How and where can I enter dietary needs. On the website trying to enter any needs at all (allergy, diabetes etc) just throws up an error and on the Medallion app the specific allergy we need to enter is not listed and there is no option to add further details.
  9. We were in Hong Kong when we did our exit and re-entry. Hong Kong is no in the US. 🙂
  10. An idea that MIGHT work... If there are people doing a back-to-back cruise they will be able to stay on board, except for a swift exit and re-board to get re-checked in. These people will probably be allocated a lounge or bar area to hang around in (this was certainly true on a Celebrity B2B I did a few years ago). You could just mingle with this crowd if they are not checked, then depart when they do their quick exit. Maybe someone who has done a recent B2B on Princess can confirm is this would be workable.
  11. We were all set for a Norway cruise on Balmoral as the itinerary looked great but the price was just silly. One week in an ocean view on Balmoral with fixed twin beds, no tips, no drinks package when, for the same price, we could get a 2 week cruise on Princess with balcony, drinks package, tips and wi-fi included for almost the same price. No-brainer really, so although we are sorry we won't be travelling on a Fred cruise this year we are looking forward to our cruise on Sky Princes.
  12. Planning on making a last minute booking on Sky Princess cruise to Norway. As the itinerary is of prime importance to use we don't want to miss any that we are particularly looking forward to.
  13. I am keen to see details of excursions offered for Norway and Iceland cruises before booking. I know ports and timings may vary on future cruises but if anyone can post recent excursion lists I'd be most grateful.
  14. I'm keen to book either Norway or Iceland August cruise out of Rosyth but I read that cruises from here regularly get cancelled at the last minute with no refund. Thoughts and advice?
