    She is currently on the ship giving actual feedback on how things are working out. She boarded in Buenos Aires. I believe she is on the Sapphire

     We have booked 5 cruises with our grandson as the 3rd person booked under the above promotion which states - "3rd guest sails free".  After selecting a cruise and room if you look at the  - Up to 40% Off-Free room upgrade  View offer details--   it will define "FREE" for this promotion  --  

     

    3rd and 4th Guest Sail Free Offer EXCLUDES TAXES, FEES, AND PORT EXPENSES. 

     

    His $153 taxes, etc are a lot less than our $1100+ cruise fare pp so it is a good deal if you can get the promotion.

    Have sort of the same problem.  Sailing Ruby from 22 Mar - 7 May (4 bookings) and then Grand on 8 May - 22 May (2 bookings).  Dates on new/old apps show 22 Mar - 22 May as one cruise.  Ship is shown as Grand with booking # for 15 May cruise and room # for Grand.  Excursions listed  on app are for the 15 May cruise.  The old app showing only the Ruby  was correct until we decided to book the Grand. Then the app combined both ships into one voyage and the new app carried data over the same way.  Website is correct and just plan to show up at the port with Paid In Full invoice and Travel Summary.  Don't think Princess would understand if I tried calling.

  5. Checking the Princess web site this morning, there is a  sale for the  3rd and 4th passenger  to sail  free  if booked within the next 39 odd hours - you will only have to pay for the 3rd person's taxes.  As others have said, you will need a 3 person cabin .

    We have been "blue" on old and new app until this morning.  Used the booking numbers to sign into the new app (cruise this March and last cruise in May 2025) and both now show Black Elite Seawitch on the Profile tab and on  the  Home tab when you scroll down to the "Best Wi-Fi at Sea" paragraph.it now shows Elite wi-fi package.  Old app still has Blue Seawitch.

    The Wake Show is usually on around 10PM at night for the following early morning show.  We usually see the Wake Show filming late morning or early afternoon for those not filmed in the crew areas.  No we don't watch it anymore as we are out of the room early and don't return until the show ends mid morning.

I clicked on the link to the Princess excursion that was posted on this thread.  Reviews were all good that I read.  One person, even though they liked the tour, didn't like being assigned an inside table away from the windows.   The only things I wasn't thrilled with was that the number going on the cruise was up to 300.  Looking at the picture of the catamaran,  that seems like a lot of people to be on it.  For those that have been on this tour, did the catamaran seem crowded?

    Just as an aside, there are no vendors that accept MedallionPay on this itinerary - thank goodness I was able to access the list to figure that out. 🤣

    Will you please post how your embarkation process worked. Think we will be blue lane too as I didn't include CC # for Shoreside.  TIA

    I never said I was looking for more perks from Princess.  Satisfied with what there is now.  Maybe you need to pick a cruise line with better perks since you consider the Princess perks to be nothing. Working hard, saving money and growing old gives a person lots of free time to cruise if that's what makes them happy. .  Happy New Year.

    App let me book included dining for Sun Princess and then removed it a few days later.

    Never book SD or internet on the app as we use OBC to cover the charges for SD and any other charges.  I was only posting that our new app also shows $63 the same as some others have posted.

    Except our ships -  Ruby and Grand Princess -  are cruising in the US in May using US$$.  Someone on another thread posted that Princess IT might be using  AU pricing  for ships that are cruising in Australia now even though the ship will be cruising around the US when we are on board.

We had fantastic weather at each port except one. The Captain was very personable and the Cruise Director was probably the best we have experienced, including his crew. He had just boarded and his team acted as if they had all been working together for quite some time.

    We were on this cruise with you and had a great time with ship, ports, food and weather was better than we had expected it to be.

    I thought about cancelling the Grand Princess but figured my App would still be crazy.  Will just be in the slow lane when  checking in at Port Everglades and eventually board.🙃  Will try to have positive thoughts when it is getting close to boarding in Vancouver.

    In the old app , I made sure that Shoreside Approval wasn't checked and then de-selected my husband as an authorized CC user.  Went to the new app and we both now show blue lane (6/7 completed) as our payment section still requires a check mark in Shoreside Approval.  Will take care of credit card when on the ship.

    300 still to low for adding a new  top level.  Maybe 500.  Agree with days only

    Yes ship is in US and so are we. New and old app have our next two cruises (Ruby with 4 B2Bs and Grand with a B2B)  starting in March  combined into one voyage. They are using the booking # for the 6th cruise (Grand in May) for the voyage even though it is our last cruise. 
     

    Th new app only shows dining available on the Grand so this pricing must be attached to the Grand

    I can usually find a work around for most obstacles.  Back when we first started cruising and WiFi minutes were very dear, we would compose the body of the email we needed to send as a document, then open wifi, open our email account and do a cut-and-paste of the document into the email draft and hit send. We could stretch whatever the basic plan or our minute allowance was to last the cruise - even when they slowed down the speed so you would burn up more minutes.

     

    Don't mess with someone from a long line of Scottish Hillbillies.

    That is how we did email once we had laptops, etc.   Also, started inserting our pictures in the body of the email instead of sending as an attachment. That sure saved lots of minutes when sending it. 
     

    But back in 2004, we only had the ship’s computers to use and they didn’t have the option to compose a document and then copy/paste it to an email.

    We don’t know if this is an increase for sure. They may have loaded them wrong.

    I wait until we are on board to book so I can use my OBC.  So far have not had a problem waiting to book

    Just can't believe the Princess will raise the price that much.
