(With comments on problems) – Surprisingly, yes, very quiet, unless you're on the balcony during a Lido deck party. Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – No obstructions Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal sized included a standard chair and a reclining back chair (not a lounger) Was wind a problem? - Yes, one night during our southbound leg, we were woken by a whistling coming from the balcony door. I got up and pulled the door shut and set the locking latch, but, that was not quite enough to totally silence the noise but it was reduced enough for us to sleep. If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - Not an aft cabin Any specific problems with this cabin? - No additional issues Any other comments? - The closest door to the cabin required us to walk through the smoking area on Deck 11 that overlooked the Lido pool area. Any time the door opened, a pall of smoke would waft down the hallway. I felt sorry for the guests in the cabins immediately adjacent to this door as they would have been the victims of the smokers outside.
