They will be 17 and 15 at the time. I spoke to princess three times. the children are old enough for their own cabin and since there is nobody over 18 in that cabin they will keep both cabins near each other. That being said if they don't link us we will put boys in one cabin girls in another. Two bathrooms, towel robes, four TV's. Cant wait! As far as keeping an eye on them....Well I am the mean mom who makes rules and curfews. There would be consequences:eek:

I just booked 2 guarantees because there were no more minis that held four in my category. I was told if the children are underage and in a separate cabin they will put you near each other. If not...I still got two minis for less than one mini with four squished in. Any upgrade would be nice. We switched to. Mini because we wanted the sofa in our cabin.

The jet blue prices are off the wall. What planet are they on? American lower by a zillion. Something's gotta give or I will be in the backyard with my feet in a blow up kiddie pool

Americans price has fluctuated from 321 to 349 to what it is now. In the past Jetblue will open in that range or 20 cheaper. I always say I should have booked earlier. The$79 flights are not the norm anymore

Boardwalk view on the Oasis eastern itinerary or aft balcony on the Jewel southern route.What would you do and why?price of cabin and airfare identical.:confused:

We went to nacho with my children and my niece and 2 nephews. There is more than enough to keep kids and adults occupied...pool, beach,banana boat, fishing g it's all there but extra. Even camel rides! Relaxing not loud.

We went there several years ago. BUY PEARLS! Prices cannot be beat. There is a little island dance performance right when you get off the ship. There is a marketplace right there too with lots of stalls for buying items such as native dolls, earrings, PEARLS and something else. I cannot remember. I do remember wondering if husband would like it. Maybe leather? Anyway... A short five minute walk from the ship is the beach. Known for open air massages. Also a tender port.I remember thinking I should have bought all my souvenirs there due to the affordability. Nothing else to do. My in-laws stayed on the ship.

Different from the eastern. More tropical and lush. Many other things to do besides Beach. Just need to research.you are not always in port in the morning and often you leave in the afternoon and have a remainder of the day like a sea day. You can also stay on ship and the spa packages are discounted. Our favorite itinerary. The Adventure wasn't bad.we had an aft balcony. Sailing the southern on the jewel next.:D

Same quandary. Jet blue has Netherlands and tv's. The prices when they open will usually be within twenty dollars of American but the fares go fast.real fast:eek:

Also don't count on them notifying you when the dates open.last time I didn't get the notice until about 3pm the day rates opened.I co u of only get the bargain rate one leg.the rest were sold out.:mad:

EXCELLENT REVIEW.. I want to cruise with you all. Reminds me of our cruise in 96.We stay in touch till this day and visit often. Cruise buddies are the best! Now I just have to wait 316 more days:D thanks again!

That was the average of all my cruises except Carnival. I ONLY gained 5 lbs then. Not sure why.:p

Can anybody compare? For a family of 4 with 2 teens pre cruise. Stayed at the Caribe Hilton in the past and were underwhelmed. Recommendations??

Love smaller ships and the Jewel's itinerary however, Quantum will sail from my homeport, I'll save money on airfare, she will be a brand new ship ,and has numerous onboard activities. Sailing with teens. Bottom line if costs are equal...Do I want to get them off the ship in port or keep them busy onboard?

Just wondering what the Jewel Pool area is like. Bar? Food? Music? Loungers?? Any pics? Loved the food on Princess at the main pool. Wondering if I have to go to the windjammer for ice cream and burgers for the kids.:rolleyes:
