Embarkation was good. We took RCCL transportation from Bush IAH to Galveston.
We had dinner in MDR. My sister and I had the prime rib and liked it. DD had pork chop and liked it. The Asian coconut sea food soup was delicious.
We are enjoying our GS suite and perks. Breakfast and lunch are in Chops by the Windjammer. After breakfast we walked on the jogging track on deck 12.
M & M is at 11:30 in the Cosmopolitan Lounge.
More later
What time did your flight arrival and what time did the transfers start? What time did you arrive at the pier and then board? Sorry about all the questions lol! Thanks! Enjoy!

We always purchase the Premium Package before we set sail that way once we board we are already all set, one less thing to think about. Leaving out of Galveston next month for the first time and wondering if we should wait for Day 2 to purchase onboard because of the liquor laws while in the port. Will the options of beverages be super limited the first day? Just wondering if it will be worth it the first day if there are many restrictions. Thanks!

The "cabin layout" thing is only on Oasis/Allure...so far! What ship are you on?
Navigator cabin 1362

I know there is a pattern to if the beds are located next to the balcony or the front door of the cabin. I know when they are grouped together in the pattern that the cabin on the right is one way and the cabin on the left is another way. Can someone please confirm which is which? Thanks!

On this week the posted movies above and:
Mockingjay Part 1
The Theory of Everything
It may of not been the imitation game it may have been the theory of everything like u said..

On the Vision OTS 2 weeks ago, we were issued tickets for tenders at both Roatan (Honduras) and Belize City (Belize).
We were on the Vision last week and there was no tendering into Roatan.
-
Does anyone know what movies are playing currently on Vision?
When we were on last week the had:
Big Hero 6
The Imitation Game
The Rookie
Paddington Bear
Enchanted
Casablanca
I think that was it... They usually played at 6 and 9 pm on sea days and 1:15 in the afternoon on port days

Sorry to ask what has been asked many times but..
I'll be on the liberty in June as diamond members the 3 free drinks are loaded to my sea pass correct? What can be had and when? Is it just during diamond lounge event time? Can it be from any venue? Also if I start off without a drink package and then say day 2? 3? I decide to add it that can still be done in a prorated basis? Thanks again I'm just a bit confused[emoji267]
Saw a lot of people on my sailing last week purchasing drink packages as the week went on at a prorated basis.

Hello! Tonight I will be posting on this thread! Just got back to work today [emoji22]. Thanks for the participation on this thread!

Wow no days of the wk!!! I would demand a refund[emoji12]! We loved the Vision we sailed her to Hawaii a few years back. Spent lots of time in the solarium on the way to Canada. Are there soda machines? How was lunch in the WJ? Anything new on the menu. ( you know the important stuff lol) Have a wonderful safe cruise. Looking forward to your updates and pictures. Do you know who is the poolside band?[emoji267]
No soda machines! Look in Windjammer was insanely crowded and the selection was very different and kind of sparse. We are not picky eaters by any means but today it just wasn't hitting us. We ended up going to Park Cafe in the Solarium for lunch! The poolside bad is Hott Sands !

I am taking note of all the things everyone is interested in! Let me say that was the quickest boarding and earliest we ever got on the ship! We where on by like 1030 lol! The ship is beautiful and very well kept. It's a bit chilly here today so just relaxing in the solarium. Big concern for us is not knowing what day it is because the elevator days of the week are not on this ship. [emoji1]. There is a decent size group of spring breakers! Everything is great so far! Keep posting your questions as I will be turning my cell off in a few hours!

Pictures of the solarium and the centrum would be lovely please. We are sailing Vision in November having only sailed Freedom before, slightly worried the ship is going to feel small.
Those are two areas of the ship where we will be spending lots of time!

Just show everything! We cruise for the first time ever on march 21. I will be anxious checking for your posts! Have a great trip.
How exciting it's your first cruise! Don't worry my review will be detailed!

Today we will be departing on the Vision of the Seas! I plan on doing a picture heavy review once we get back. Does anyone have any questions or anything that they would like me to check out while onboard? Any particular pictures that they would like taken? I will be reading the requests till sail away today so let me know!

How far is Total Wine from Tampa airport? Anyone ever take a cab from the airport to Total Wine to the pier? How much does this whole cab ride cost? Thanks!
-
Thanks for taking the time to post that!

We had a 920 flight once out of Tampa. It was horrible! We came back on a Thursday so we sat in a ton of traffic on the way to the airport because of rush hour traffic. Then once at the airport it was mostly business travelers and it took forever to get thru security because the scanning and checking of all the laptops and briefcases. We ran to our flight! We made it with like a minute to spare. It was way to nerve racking and will never repeat that mistake again!

Iv had some crazy dreams before.. Forgetting luggage or having to pack as the cruise was leaving and missing the ship. Mostly all my "panic" dreams involve luggage lol. Iv also had crazy dreams where on the last day of the cruise I wake up to find out I missed the whole cruise and have no memories of the cruise. Yes I know this sounds crazy! I'm so happy someone posted this thread as it has eased my nerves a little bit. We leave Saturday on the Vision so for me this week will be filled with crazy dreams and even crazier scenarios that will play in my head all week. Missing flight because of weather..lost luggage at the airport.. Fog delay in Tampa... I can keep going lol! I'm glad to see other people get as antsy as me before a cruise! Lol

Look thru some of the menus online and put some in your phone that way you remember what to order once onboard
