  1. I recall they gave me an email address to submit to, but I don't remember off the top of my head. I would probably message Celebrity One Touch, I think that's their current resolutions email.
  2. I had a shirt ruined by the Celebrity laundry. Fortunately I had bought it just before the cruise so while onboard they documented what happened and gave me a copy of that. When I returned home, I sent them the receipt and they reimbursed me in full for the item.
  3. Even with the Cruise with Confidence and being able to reprice until 2 days before sailing, we haven't really gotten price drops after final payment and we're now less than a month out for our B2B. Most of the discounted rates are GTY only or Simply Sail so they don't include the perks, and then it's not really a price drop.
  4. I'm sure it got complicated with the itinerary changes and the ship swap. The system might not be programmed to catch those kind of mistakes since the bookings were made when it was a legal itinerary.
  5. I believe someone on these itineraries is keeping them but they have to disembark in Victoria and then reboard the next day in Vancouver at their own expense. I'd blame your TA, not Celebrity. My TA warned me back when I was looking at Sept 9 Solstice followed by Sept 16 Millennium/Sept 22 Millennium that it might be an illegal cruise. As it happens, the ship change would have made it legal, but once Celebrity swapped Solstice in for the Millennium sailings it would not have been. Fortunately we decided only to do the second and third legs so we are OK.
  6. Personally, I think those rooms are great for parents with small kids. I think they'd be awfully tight/uncomfortable for four adults.
  7. We were given an upgrade during the ship switch from Millennium to Solstice, free of charge. Although with price drops I guess we would have been able to refare it anyway now, but I'll still be grateful for the excitement lol. We were moved from an oceanview to an unobstructed balcony.
  8. My 12 year old is a foodie and not into the active amenities on other ships. He loves Celebrity.
  9. Having a good TA is worth their weight in gold. I got an email from mine saying that Resolutions said this was an error but they are honouring the OBC we'd be entitled to from the fare drop since we're past final payment but still eligible to reprice until 2 days beforehand under Cruise with Confidence. I don't think the amount quite lines up... but I'm very, very happy for the little bit of extra money. Thanks to the OP for posting.
  10. Promo code is no longer valid. I managed to grab screencaps for my September sailings while it was working and I emailed both my TA and the bestprice email. I suspect they're going to tell me to pound sand though 😞
  11. I miss the midnight buffet or at least the gourmet bites the staff used to carry around in public areas. Some of us early diners like having some snacks to take the edge off our late night drinking lol. That being said, I hope there's beef on the buffet. I'm bringing my 12 year old son on my next cruise and he's currently on a beef and bacon kick. Maybe I should call Celebrity and warn them that he currently is eating like four adult men despite being skinny as a rail 😄
  12. They would make it for you at cafe al bacio, right?
  13. My son would also like to know what's on the Solstice, I assume they'd have the same games?
  14. This actually happened to me. More than once, actually.
  15. That's so, but it isn't specific enough. I know how many of each type of garment was sent out, but not which specific ones. If I send out four sundresses and only get three back, I might struggle to remember which one is missing.
  16. Be careful with your laundry and make sure you write a list of what you sent out. We have had missing items before and had to ask them to look. We always do use the free Elite laundry because it's so handy, but I've had clothes ruined before (which I'll say they promptly paid for) and missing items. It's just wash and fold, not pressed.
  17. OK. So book it online now and then who do I ask for the refund?
  18. They said they could do the wifi and beverage package discounts but they didn't see anything for the hot glass or the photo package. It's listed in the new benefits. https://secure.viewer.zmags.com/publication/9ca4feeb#/9ca4feeb/2
  19. But the onboard cost is much more than the precruise cost!
  20. I would like to book the hot glass experience and the digital photo package. I saw these are in the new Captain's Club program changes as 5% discount on the hot glass and 40% on the photo package for Elite members. I have called in and they say these discounts can't be applied precruise? Is this correct? How do I get the discount or is this benefit useless?
  21. Ahh ok. Well the current price of said cabins has nothing to do with anything, let alone the Captain's Club upgrade.
  22. I don't understand. If they're the same price just cancel your booking and change categories. No upgrade needed. Otherwise? They are not going to make an exception. The price is the price.
  23. My 12 year old son will have the classic nonalcoholic package on our upcoming trip. Do the NA packages work the same as the alcoholic ones that if he wants a virgin mixed drink or the like (that I assume is not on the classic package) or something else, does he only pay a small fee for it or does he pay for the whole item? I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to upgrade him. What will he NOT be able to have if I leave him with the classic? Thanks!
  24. I would just spend other time with them and let them know that you will have a different assigned dining room. You shouldn't have to give up one of your suite perks to eat with them. Why not have lunch with them instead? Cruising with friends doesn't have to mean joined at the hip.
