  1. $69 now. Everything going up in price at this port stop.
  2. We were on Allure in April. I pre-purchased the arcade credits for discount in the planner ahead of time. Then I was on the C&A offers thread and saw the youth offer for the arcade once onboard. It was a better deal than the prepurchase, so I canceled that and just decided to use the onboard offer. Then my teens never ended up using the arcade at all because they were often closed at night when my teens would have gone - there was so much else to do during the day that there was never time when the arcades were open. I don't know currently for Allure if the arcades are open later in the evening (was it a staffing issue? IDK...) and/or if the C&A offer is still available. Maybe someone on board now or going soon can chime in? (The youth Crown and Anchor offer on board for most of 2022 - paper in stateroom upon arrival - was a $25 OBC applied the last morning if they spend $50, or OBC of $5 if they spent $15.) Had to be on a youth C&A SeaPass card.
  3. Most operate online and via email now, but you want to make sure you get one that is a real person who can advocate for you, not just a site with a sale. Are you on the "other" blog/forum/message boards? The Royal Caribbean blog one? You can get recommendations over there!
  4. If you live near an IKEA, they have some very inexpensive, cute trays as well.
  5. I would recommend using a RCI-knowledgeable TA. Many benefits without giving up much control at all. I think there may be additional benefits for International travelers to use a USA based one, as well, but I've only seen some comments about it - no firsthand experience.
  6. We drink a lot of water and I don't like to drink chlorine (taste) or buy disposable plastic if I can help it, so we brought a pur pitcher along with us so we could always drink from the room taps (and yes, we fly). It really didn't take up much room or weight at all in the luggage because we stuffed it full of clothes which also protected it from breaking. The pur filter creates decent tasting water. We would get ice and put it in the top, then put the sink/shower water over it, so the filtered water was also colder than we could have gotten from the fridge in the room. We didn't have to go out anywhere to find a place to fill our bottles (we have had trouble on cruises before) and didn't have to worry about contaminating the ship's water containers with our reusable bottles or hogging them by using one after the other ship cup, dump in, to fill 4 big reusable bottles. It was a solution that worked out really well for our family.
  7. Can anyone on a ship, soon to go on a ship or just back but saved your papers, upload a recent version of these leaflets? Pretty please? I'm mostly interested in the Youth one, but I'm sure all of them would be helpful to different people if you are able!

    Booking LFK

I remember reading this thread a while ago: There's also this one that seems newer?
  9. Me three! I absolutely love the Mesoamerican Reef. Doing an identical cruise this year on Allure to those three stops because we loved them so much last year (choosing some different excursions...). But I think it really depends on what you like to DO when you're in port.
  10. We loved Roatan! Costa Maya is the one that felt like a mixed bag to us...
  11. If it turns out the package is not for you/her, you can bring some on board or get a cooler filled with some preordered (under gifts) to have in stateroom when you arrive.
  12. Damn good question, and I have no idea how to fix it! Are you sure you aren't from "Sunset" Fl?
  13. Good tip, may try it - thanks! I wish I could make vinegar easily too. My issue is mostly storage at home - the citrus cleaner is a much smaller package than all that vinegar.
  14. My menus are already posted for Allure in April and night 6 "Royal Night" says, "cold water Maine lobster". Doesn't say what size though 😂
  15. Ships that have converted to Starlink seem to have dropped the Surf only package and gone to one Voom price only.
  16. I pre-ordered a bottle on Allure last April with special needs and it was in my room when I arrived. I use it for my nasal rinse with special medication for sinus issues. I was pleasantly surprised that it was in the room, as our coffee cards were not! I do this now too @Ret MP and really appreciate how convenient it is to have distilled water whenever I need it without having to run to the store, or run to the store and find that they're out! I also now just reuse the last 3 plastic bottles that I bought before I got the distiller so I'm happy that I'm not causing as much plastic waste. I may have the same machine as you. And yes, the gunk that is left behind is gross. Mine is a brownish color. Always thrilled to do the citrus clean cycle!
  17. Are specialty restaurants open for lunch on embarkation day? (Allure specifically but probably similar to Oasis schedule-wise?)
  18. Here is my summary of the day we had at Jaime's: I think it would have been nicer for us if it hadn't been such a crowded day there. But I'm not sure I'm a fan of the Mahuhual/Malecon beach "clubs" in general. If we don't end up enjoying Maya Chan and the waterpark doesn't reopen, we'll probably not get off at this port again (or we'll choose sailings that don't go here...)
  19. I've posted on here (and others have disagreed with me) that my family didn't really care for Jaime's. Our experience wasn't BAD, but just didn't feel worth what we paid. My biggest complaint is that we felt squished all day, not relaxing. And food, while good, was slow, along with drinks. I'm going to try to find my prior post about it and put it here.
  20. Ages 18 and over ($69) Ages 8-17 ($59) Ages 4-7 ($49) Ages 0-3 ($19)
  21. deleted, duplicate, sorry!
  22. We're doing an ATV/Paintball activity at a park that also has ziplines and horse riding of some sort for our morning activity and then doing a Discover Scuba in the afternoon.
