I phoned Celebrity after receiving the email, they apologised and said it was sent in error to Australian cruisers, apparently they will be sending out an apology email.

Well our departure last night was postponed, we are now leaving today at 4.00pm, apparently gale force winds with very high seas up the coast. Brisbane has now been deleted and we are heading straight for Airlie Beach, there are lots of unhappy passengers on board but that is cruising. Feeling the extra passengers on board, cruise director last night said we are at 80% capacity, after the last two cruises we’ve been spoiled with more staff than passengers!

We are on for the 22 nights as well, I believe there are 400 on this cruise staying on for the following 5 night cruise.

What a beautiful day for our arrival into Newcastle, blue skies but still a chill in the air.

Love the excitement of being in a hotel the night prior to hopping on a ship! Will be watching out for the Coral tomorrow morning, looking forward to 22 nights of doing nothing! Thank you to those on board who have shared their experiences, the anticipation is at fever pitch!
