  1. I've been watching a bunch of Tik Toks lately that tag Enchanted Princess. They make it look like if you're on your balcony and order a drink, a server will show up with that drink and hand it to you while you lounge. I'm fairly certain that they do not actually let themselves into the cabin and deliver the drink to the balcony, correct? And assuming they have to knock and you have to answer, how have your experiences been with delivery times? We will be in an aft cabin with a nice balcony that I am imagining I will be spending a good bit of time on. So if I suddenly "need" a margarita, do I order it and then go sit in the cabin until it shows up? Is there a way to track the progress, kind of like with Amazon's "your package is three stops away" ? These are the silly things I think about when my cruise is still a few months away and all the real planning is done🤪 But I really would be interested in how people have utilized this newish service.
  2. @Esjung1 and @barbpretz THANK YOU so much for your positive comments! We are on Enchanted in February, along with friends who we are introducing to cruising. I had begun to despair with the bad experiences people were sharing. I'm so hopeful that there were glitches when she first got back to the US and that it will be, literally and figuratively, smooth sailing going forward. You've bolstered that hope! One more question - how was the internet service?
  3. This is helpful info. How far ahead did you book it? Last time I sailed Princess was before the app, and we just had a card in our suite telling us what time and where they had reserved for us.
  4. A couple of questions about Club Class dining if I may: we are sailing on Enchanted in February, with friends. Each couple in a suite. Will the four of us be able to just turn up to Club Class dining when we are ready to dine, or is there a need to make reservations for this as well? Will it be an issue that there are four of us? Also, does each MDR have a CC section, or just certain dining room/rooms? Thanks to anyone who knows. Things seem to have gotten so complicated!
  5. Christmas Cove was awful when we were there in April. Almost completely grey underwater. I mean visibility was fine, but there was nothing colorful to see. There was a "sunken boat" but it was just the side of an old rowboat, with no marine life around it. There were like two turtles and a starfish in the whole space. Pretty ride to get there from port though.
  6. In searching for holders on amazon, there is one that has a brooch pin. Your wife could pin to her shirt? Or bra, I suppose. @richla do you have a slider that goes on your watchband (kind of like the ones they sell for dog collar air tags)? If so, does it interfere with your watch at all? Or did you mean you have the watchband style holder but don't wear it on an actual watch?
  7. Remember, too, that when you get to your cabin there will be a welcome bowl of fruit, and sometimes a plate of canapes. When we had a sail away party for our large group on our aft balcony, this actually was plenty of food, because everyone had boarded and eaten lunch, and then we were headed to dinner shortly after sail away.
  8. Thanks @dides and @MouseBerry It's always better to have expectations set realistically going in, I think 🍹
  9. These are helpful updates, thanks to all who are sharing their experience. We are booked on Enchanted in February. Two things I'm wondering about based on comments: 1 - do servers not wander around anymore to take drink orders? Is it either medallion app or stand in line at a bar? We've always had wonderful experiences on Princess ships with the drinks crew. It seemed anytime/anywhere we plopped ourselves down, someone materialized within moments to take our drink order. Do I need to seriously adjust my expectations? 2 - Are the long dining room waits also happening in club class dining? Thanks for any insights!
  10. I personally love the private breakfast restaurant. A dedicated wait staff that knows exactly what you like by day 2 is so much nicer than going to the buffet or waiting for the slow service in the dining room. Also, and this is a small thing, but the champagne greeting from the cabin steward on day one really makes it feel like my vacation has started. I didn't realize how much I liked that until we sailed on Royal last month in a suite and did not have that little perk. The split bathroom set up is nice as well when two people are trying to get ready for the day or for dinner.
  11. Lol just realized you meant 23 as the year, not the date in February. I think I need a cruise to reset my mind! See you next year!
  12. Are you sure you've got your dates right? We're on Enchanted on the 27th for a 10 night, and it looks like another 10 night goes before that.... Anyway, a couple of the ports on the 27th itinerary are, as of now, only allowing ship excursions. I'm hopeful that will change by next February. You may want to browse the above-linked boards, as folks have been reporting their experiences. As for currency, you should only have to convert to US$, as most Caribbean ports are happy to take that.
