  1. This is my upcoming prediction for all Oasis class ships. Colored cells are already confirmed deployment by Royal, Grey cells are my predictions. image.thumb.png.1a689f6f1af521b539a73dc1682b9016.png

I also considered a split season for WN between China and Australia, but with Brisbane struggling to fill a Quantum class and Lelepa still not open, I think it's unlikely.

    Test sailings are up.

    Odyssey to Cape Liberty

Oasis in Fort Lauderdale for 6/8 nighters

Rhapsody in San Juan starting in June, and I assume will continue through winter

Jewel in Galveston. 9 night itinerary is showing

Explorer on longer cruises from Miami

Radiance in Tampa for 7 nighters

Brilliance in NOLA for 7 nighters

Will post more if I find any

So looks like both Jewel and Explorer are out for the APAC region.

If another voyager class came to the pacific it would probably be one that hasn’t been before.

To my knowledge, the only one that hasn’t been is Adventure ??
    It’s pretty old .

Currently all voyager class ships are fully deployed for the season except for Explorer. Explorer is deployed until late November 2024/ early December 2024, after finishing Venice and moving to Cape Liberty. So Explorer still has less than half a season left. But if this is the case then Singapore could see Spectrum maybe remain till then?

Which could make sense given how November is much colder to send the cold weather ship to say HK or another Chinese port.

Has Explorer ever docked at Marina Bay Sands?

I can see that there is a filter set up on their cruise schedule with Explorer of the Seas listed as one of the options. Currently there are no calls which appear, as the schedule only shows up until June 2023, but could be a potential for the future?

I believe Explorer has called at Marina Bay cruise center for when she came for drydock years back. But, that was a non-revenue sailing to Singapore.

Define routine trips pls. As far as I can see all RC itineraries are routine - little or no variation from year to year.

I'm talking about the 4N/5N Malaysia and Thailand cruises out of Singapore. What i meant was that they might bring a freedom class to do longer 7N/9N/11/12N itineraries and a Voyager class with the 4/5N ones.

    What’s your theory?

Spectrum is leaving Singapore, and something has to replace these itineraries down here. So what is likely is:

    - This marks the end of the Quantum class era in Singapore from 2014 till 2023, as the 5 year contract ends this year.

    - Singapore market is likely going to see a downgrade of product but royal thinks its an upgrade which would be homeporting 2 smaller ships seasonally.

    - I am guessing a Freedom and voyager class ship for this season. Radiance is too small and not attractive enough for the market on routine trips.

I am looking at Sept 2024 and the only ships without any schedule are Jewel, Grandeur, Rhapsody, Serenade(finishing world cruise Sept 10) and Spectrum.

Is it possible there are no 3 day weekends out of Port Canaveral for Sept 2024?

These are not the ships I was expecting. They are too small. But since you pointed them out, i'll keep a look out for Jewel and her released itineraries.

Maybe I'm completely in left field here, with the discussion of homeporting...is there any chance Utopia ends up in Asia?

Wonder was initially designed for the Asian market. The work put into converting her back to the NA market makes me think they won't "undo" it to send her once things open. Bayley suggested in the earnings call that 2024 was the realistic expectation for the Chinese market returning.

Obviously, they once intended for an Oasis class ship to head over there. Sure, things have changed drastically with COVID, but if they're expecting a rebound once the market reopens, would they not plan on sending a similar class vessel?

Just spitballing and could be completely off base. Many of you on here have far better insight into this than I.

Utopia is not going to Asia.

Oooooooh!!  Dubai India has reappeared in the search options again even though it is still greyed out along with South America.

I know the thoughts were this was for the World Cruise, but I do live in hope that Dubai will come back onto the rota!!

Dubai and India are two very different places, I wonder why it is just one entry?

Nothing in English works in China, this is a bad example. Broadway shows in English work in most other countries around the World. Or do you beliece people from the New York or London area cruise on Anthem because of the show they have at home anyway?

If that is the case then tell me why Royal created a new production show for Spectrum post covid to serve the Singapore market, instead of having a broadway show onboard? Spectrum gets a lot of international fly cruisers. The majority of people from Singapore also speak English as their main language.

I'm curious if WWRY on Anthem will reach the end of the contract in 2025.  Royal seems to be done with Broadway shows or in this case a West End show and paying all those license fees.  That can also hamper deploying a ship if the production company that owns the rights to the show has a say in the region where Royal can offer the show.

Anthem may have been captive to the greater NYC area and the UK because of WWRY.  If they don't renew it then they are free to send her anywhere.

Makes it even more likely that Anthem will head to a different market then.

    What does WWRY stand for?
