  1. Are there benefits to doing Next Cruise versus just booking a cruise online? I'm wondering what the perks are. Thanks.
  2. You can also message Crown and Anchor via FB. I had success with a problem doing that.
  3. My cruise is April 1. Slides might be nice. I don't care about a Starbucks. 😄
  4. I did see that an excursion that was sold out opened up again. You can email RC Shore Excursion and ask if any slots will open up. They can put you on a waiting list.
  5. I wouldn't want to be responsible for someone's child, someone I didn't know.
  6. The 11-year-old might be too small. Don't want him/her sliding out of harness, etc. I did the zip line years ago and it was a lot of fun. Find something else for them to do.
  7. I enjoy them too. I hope they will return to my next cruise as well.
  8. If an evening cruise is offered, I recommend that.
  9. I have found prices to be more on A2Sea. Plus, I don't think they work with all the airlines.
  10. I put in a bid for Royal Up for the first time. I just did the lowest available bid for a balcony room. I'm totally fine with not getting it.
  11. Not if MTD only opens at 6:45 p.m. If it were 6:00 p.m., I'd stick with it.
  12. 7:15. That's the earliest. 👎 That's way too late. The early dining time is 6:00 p.m. and late is 8:30 p.m. I usually eat at 5:00 p.m. I also like MTD because we ate and left. Not that we rushed, but we didn't linger either.
  13. I wonder if they are trying to get people to eat in their specialty restaurants and thus have to pay a fee. I wouldn't put it past them. 👿
  14. Exactly. Because 6:45 is not my time. I went around 5 on my August cruise. I have emailed RC dining to try to get some clarification. I will have to switch to early seating if I can. If not, I guess I'll be eating in the Windjammer, which isn't my first choice.
  15. Baltimore. It's only two+ hours. I know I shouldn't complain. I haven't flown since pre-Covid so I don't know if things have changed, etc.
  16. I'm not looking forward to my flight, but it shouldn't be as bad as yours. I'm glad you're home and hope the jet lag isn't too bad.
  17. Sweet doggy. How were the shows on Explorer? Did you visit the ice rink?
  18. Just curious, what difference does it make?
  19. I just looked. Prices are going up. I was hoping to get more info on summer school plans. How do you book refundable?
  20. That's crazy. I want to book an August cruise and want an interior room. I hope they won't be sold out. I was going to wait until my April cruise in case I can get a better deal by doing the next cruise thing.
  21. Just a comment for you and others if they think it's a bother. Not assuming anything.
  22. I guess if it's a bother, cruise on Celebrity. Maybe Celebrity doesn't have problems. I don't know. When I first started cruising on RC, there was no towel fee. RC probably lost a lot of money and had depleted towel supply. Now they have to have a staff member check towels in and out.
  23. Unfortunately, people took pool towels on shore excursions and did not bring them back. Thus, the towel fee. A few bad apples is why we have the towel fee.
