We were just on the Allure 2 or so weeks ago. Blaze was being used as the Diamond Lounge. It would be crowded by the time we made it there at 5:30ish. I really didn't care for darkness of this venue. I loved the original lounge on 11. I hope Blaze isn't the permanent spot. I realize they are remodeling the old spot.
What was the time frame you were allowed to go? Also, is this for all 7 nights?

Enjoying your review and pictures, Kim.
Just booked the Breakaway for next month and will be our first time on this ship. Curious what cabin # were you in? We booked an inside gty and got a cat IB that has triple occupancy, so hoping it'll be like the one you had as it does look bigger than the double occupancy ones we've had in the past with NCL. Thx!

Just wish they would let those of us sailing after end of october if they are changing our itineraries too
Agree! Our final payment is coming up in 3 weeks and I'm thinking we won't find out anything until after that.
We're one of the first sailings going to Perfect Day/Coco Cay, which is the ONE thing my SIL,DD, and GD are REALLY looking forward to. My SIL hasn't been on very many cruises so he's looking forward to St Kitts and St Thomas also. It's his 40th B'Day so Yeah, it matters. Only other idea was to pay $$$ Symphony and lose our great cabins we grabbed back in April.
And of course, I'm the one who picked the Allure in the 1st place!

So sorry to hear about your kitty.
Question regarding your port visits and time. Did you change any ports ar scheduled times in the ports due to propulsion issues with the ship as as been reported previously? We don't sail till November with a stop in CoCo Cay which my SIL and GD and DD are Really looking forward to. Any info would be appreciated.

Sailing in Nov and concerned about reports of port changes due to propulsion problems. Did your sailing experience any issues due to this? Did you have same port visits and correct port times as you originally booked?

Thanks for your review, enjoyed reading.
Sailed Seaside last Sept for our 1st MSC trial run, but just in one of those huge balconies deck 9, an S3 Suite. Added in the Thermal spa for $130 p/p and loved it along with our Bali Sport massages for only $77 p/p, Great therapists and very relaxing. Usually only do specialty dining so tried the Trio pkg and also used the Black status dinner option along with Brunch at Butcher's Cut. Did dine in MDR but only one night as it was incredibly slow and painful to eat with other 6 tablemates. We didn't care for our selections, so you probably didn't miss anything there. OMG, I can't believe you didn't try the chocolate place. Great coffee drinks, and yummy choc martinis for sure! Also, the gelato is delicious on ship.
We also enjoyed most of their entertainment, as it was so different than other cruise lines. Surprised you'd go only once, and decide not to try any more. But, to each their own, it wasn't my vacation, it was yours.
Going again this Sept, this time in YC, so very interested in your feedback on the restaurant. Agree, it's a big deal for us during our cruises also. You really feel you've had better service in Chili's??? Hard to believe...
One question, is there smoking allowed in the Yacht Club areas, ie pool area, etc?? Not sure I've seen it mentioned. Thanks!

The Sky came into Nassau on Fri. 3/29 at around 7 pm. We pulled away from the dock, on the Bliss, and waited for it to clear the channel before we left port.

Thanks for your update. Curious if you know who's replaced Jim Badger in the District Brewhouse? And who are the comedians currently? We're on the March 23 sailing!

No, nothing significant in my opinion. Platinum has decent benefits but the jump to platinum plus is not that big of a deal. And yes, photo gallery managers, shopping consultants, casino managers, gift shop managers, are considered officers.
I'd be more happy to get the second bottle of H2O than having dinner with any of those people! But curious, is that in the MDR or a specialty restaurant? Either way, I wouldn't consider them "Officers"

We like to bring our Artic cups to keep drinks colder longer

I'm considering just hoping for a Day pass on one of our port days while on the Bliss. Will I be charged the 20% gratuity? Anyone know?

Enjoy the weekend and come back soon with all your Great information!
Curious HOW EARLY did you go to the Cavern to get the great seats? Like an hour beforehand? Thanks
-
Haven't yet been on the Bliss. Going next month. Thanks for doing this review Jamie
Regarding the Comedy reservations, I seem to have recently read that you need to go to the Comedy Club to fill out a paper form and they allowed you to make a max of two reservation times. Not into doing standby line

Sept 21-28
Hope you enjoy your sailing! BTW, they also had a White nite on our sailing. Forgot to include that

Jamie, Glad to hear you've decided to try the Seaside! I've been following some of your advice on the Upgrade bid offer for NCL as we're sailing next month on the Bliss and have an offer pending. Hope you enjoyed your recent sailing.
.We sailed last Sept on the Seaside and they had Country nite, Latin party, Silent disco, 70's party in Atrium, Gatsby party in addition to the theatre shows. We sat right up front by the stage as we enjoyed the performers, the sets, costumes, etc. Also went to the afternoon Opera show as it's just not something I'd normally do, but I enjoyed it. Every seat was definitely taken, so guess plenty of folks did enjoy it.
We're also sailing Seaside this Sept in Yacht club this time, so excited!

check your tier level with HAL and then MSC to match status level with perks
-
Could you also get a pic of Le Bistro and La Cucina menus? Looking for current prices on those two as well. Trying to decide for our Platinum dinners for our sailing in March. Enjoy your cruise and thanks for taking us along

Curious what did your parents think of their 1st cruise? Thanks for your review

Still listed at $45 on my cruise planner for Nov 30th sailing. Perhaps you can book for the 1st night for a discount? Murano, Tuscan and Lawn Club all had that option available
