Hey we saw laundry facilities (for crew) behind the stage on a recent stage.tour. One of the crew was walking out. I am not advocating that when tipping the bar staff slip them a couple pair of underwear. But it might be worth a try.

Even the crown lounge is placing hot chocolate at the concierge desk(and elsewhere on the ship-( promenade, windjammer). My goodness isn’t there honor among thieves?

My iphone had no service issues.

We were departing for Baltic sea cruise. Whipped out my trusty Iphone and zip, Nada . So the printed copy came in pretty handy.

We were on Explorer of the sea.(just got off) and same thing with sprite zero and bottled water.

We just got off the Explorer and it was a he.and his first name was Bill.

That’s quite a gamble when we are boarding in 48 hours on the explorer. Yikes!

Well I retired in 2017. So now we do take longer cruises!

Well in the Midwest no matter how inexpensive the cruise there was the matter of flights, or driving (cost of gas, eating on the way)to the port. Good policy to get there a day ahead so hotel cost. Hay we got to eat when we get there a day early. So after this next cruise we will be diamond plus. I can most assuredly tell it was not quick, cheap, or easy. Hope that helps.

Couple of years ago we took a RCL cruise out of New Orlrans. Long story short we had to leave late. About 4 hours late! We had booked a specialty restaurant and had just set down. We ordered a bottle of wine with dinner. Next thing we knew the waiter informed us we were still in the Mississippi River and the wine would be subject to a tax. So there you go. OBTW we ordered the wine and very much enjoyed it with our dinner.

Several years back I was up late and watching a shopping channel on Xmas eve. The sale was for a basic Invicta dive watch normal price 199.99 but now 79.00 plus free shipping plus free gift wrap. So I bought 2 and gave them to my two sons who were in college. Gave them as belated Xmas gifts. A year later the watches literally fell apart. I own several Seiko automatic watches on is 20 years old. Still ticking.

We were on the Summit last September for the chefs table. When we arrived we were asked if we wanted a common garden variety wines, or the wine pairings (60 dollar per person not including gratuity). We took the wine pairings due to previous chefs table. We were not disappointed. We thought about just getting one wine pairing and one “regular”. Wines tastings are very subjective. But in this case it was a pairing. Enjoy your chefs table no matter what you choose. Addendum we can’t remember if the common wine was included or it too had a charge. We have the receipt for the wine 120.00 and 24.00.

Booked the 2026 Mardi Gras Constellation cruise. Let the good times roll. Its overnight and I shudder to think if we booked a hotel room during Mardi Gras!

November 2024 we will be diamond plus on the Harmony. We each get a BOGO. Can we each book a BOGO and take an another couple (first cruise) with us. I could not find anything in the fine print.

Well when the cruises in the 80's and 09's are so much different than now. But if you want to approximate the 80's and 90's cruises Celebrity. It is as close as one can get. Definitely not Royal (welcome to the future).

We been cruising since 1987 but got serious in 2000. One cruise a year on 7 days or more. Then took a Panama Canal cruise on Celebrity Infinity. Game changer and the focused on RCL and before you know it diamond/elite. Just finished New England/Canada in September. Totally on board for Celebrity brand. We figure we are going to cruise might as well earn some perks.

Sigh, they had us when a lounge was mentioned. We are all in.
