I’ve been enjoying reading your STT review on your website, and I have to admit that although I love this forum, I am really enjoying the format of reading only your story as it relates to your trip. Ugggg. This is the week of the year I would normally cruise too, but since I don’t usually book more than six months out, I didn’t have anything booked this time. I did, however, have to cancel a land vacation to Tampa which would’ve been for five days over last weekend. I’m ready for Covid to go bye-bye.

Although I’m not friends with any shipboard staff, I do follow several of the entertainment staff on social media. Several of them have gotten jobs on land. Don’t know if it’s just temporary until they are called back by Carnival, or if they have no intention on returning to ship life. It’s so sad 😞

So I just read on John Heald’s page that they indeed took the schedule down to redo it. I feared that they took it down bc they know more than they’re telling us regarding cruising resuming. I hope I’m wrong and that cruising does resume in August as they have told us. I think we all need a vacation after living through this.

Does anyone have the link to the Carnival CD schedule? I have the link saved (airtable link) but when I click on it, I get a message that says the link is not available. It was there recently because I was looking at it. I wonder why they would remove it altogether.

Well that’s a bunch of bu!!sh!t. What recourse do you have at this point? I think at least the author of this article should be notified that they are providing false information.

Funny you should say that (remembering months later that you didn’t get any) because on my last cruise, there was no towel animal on the first night (this was on Carnival). I mentioned to the room steward that I missed the towel animal, he smiled and nodded.....and I had a towel animal every night after that 😀

This is so sad for everybody. The disembarking passengers that are ready to leave the ship, the embarking passengers who have no idea when their vacation will begin, the staff who are missing their day in port, the room stewards who will have to clean every room AGAIN once the current passengers are finally allowed to leave. And how are the buffet lines so long, when it’s all the same passengers who have been on the ship all week? It’s not like like any extras have come on board. Wonder if they’ll open the MDR if the current passengers are still on the ship at dinner time. I, for

So sorry to hear this news Kim. Hopefully this will not have any effect on your upcoming Oasis cruise. Are you still paying out of pocket for all of your medical or were finally able to get the BWC to kick in? Thinking good thoughts for you.

My son is on a cruise that just started today. When he originally booked the cruise, it was for him and his gf. They subsequently broke up and he got a friend to take her place. He had to pay $100 to change the name on the booking.

If it makes you feel any better @Greenpea2, I haven't been able to access the CC site for the past two days either.....and I'm not even on a cruise 🤬. Anyway, loving your review and the antics of you and your sistah!!!
