  1. Tried on 4 maxi dresses this weekend at old navy and H&M and they looked horrible on me.

Am I missing something? I am size 12 and DD.

    Help!

I think it has to do with the material. Mines like a stretchy material and it doesn't cling on to your body.

  2. Lmao you're awesome!

This weekend Old Navy had their flip flop sale for $2. And I bought 3 pair and found this gorgeous bright coral tank top. Super cute ;-)

And now I'm on eBay buying maxi dresses.

I'm a size 14 with DD so I know your feeling.

Maxi dresses look fabulous with someone like me with curves. Two gorgeous dresses with free shipping under $26

  4. I have heard that the Tuesday deals are unreal. Its cheaper to purchase on a Tuesday and if you fly on a Tuesday even better. My friend just flew down to Orlando Florida with her two kids for under $600 for all three people. Paid on a Tuesday and flew out on a Tuesday. Unreal!

I have also heard the 100 days out thing too. I figured I'd look around Sept to October. Figured looking at tickets in November would be really pricey.

  5. Oh how awesome. If I could afford to pay for the airfare to San Juan I totally would. Maybe if I book two years in advance and save up for it I would. Flights from Boston are around 7-900

  6. Lol I don't consume all of that. I'm just saying I can have up to 15 beers a day (eating food all day wears down any buzz) and I drink a ton of water too.

I rarely ever get intoxicated. I just like to have a slight buzz throughout the day. I hate hangovers.

  7. Thanks for the info.

I have been checking for flights down to Orlando and cannot believe how ridiculously expensive they are right now. I almost fell over. I would have thought sailing in January prices would be a heck of a lot cheaper than spring break prices. Although I'm still 284 days out most airlines are not even available yet.

Southwest is usually who I use because prices are so cheap. Jet blue is also someone real cheap. But their schedules only fly out till October.

The cheapest I found was $480 per person. I'd rather take the train for $225.

  8. I never thought of that actually.

They charge for checked bags now too, right? Or is it just some airlines?

Is there a weight limit per suit case? And what happens if your over the limit?

  9. What would I need for luggage? I think 5 pieces would be too much. I'm thinking one BIG one for clothes, one for toiletries, curling irons, straighteners, makeup set shoes etc? Then one carry on? I always always over pack, I just can't help it. Even on camping trips I end up over packing. The last trip I took I decided to pack way less and ended up not having enough. I'd rather over pack and have too much then not enough.

  10. That's all I think of when I'm in the stores....."mmmm. That would make a great embarkation outfit!"

I'm waiting for Macy's Beach to come out. It's a really nice resort wear line. A bit pricey but it's beautiful. I want to show up my sister on embarkation day. That's mean, I know.

    Happy Sailing!

Macy's always has great outfits, I'm a big fan of their INC line. So many pretty colors. I try and wait for sale days to shop and wait for my coupons to arrive so I save extra $

  11. My butt is sitting in my chair "computer window shopping as we speak" Lol

I do not own any luggage yet. I've seen some AMAZING deals on EBay. I've been shopping on eBay for years! Anyone else buy luggage from them? My only fear would be something would be broken, like a zipper.

My other thought was to try TJMaxx or Marshalls.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

  12. Thank you MamaTene. I'm really not happy with the entire situation either.

The shopping is definitely a lot of fun. I can't wait for summer to officially be here so I can shop at the stores I know always have a great selection of summer dresses and cute tops. Just trying to drop some weight before I dare buy some jean shorts. If not I'll buy some jeans and cut them into shorts when the time comes.

  13. I live in a very cold region 6 no the out of the year. Since the "warmer weather" up here isn't until May, shopping season for warm clothes don't really begin until mid March.

I've been buying cute tropical bright colors for my trip. Even old navy had their flip flops on sale for $2 yesterday so I grabbed 3 pairs and a really cute bright coral colored shirt.

I just can't help myself lol
