I'm wondering the same thing. We are on her in July.
-
I had an ankle injury that prompted me to rent a scooter once. It was one the Allure, so I was afraid of the long walking to get from one end to the other. I healed much quicker than the doctor or I thought. But I kept it just in case. I used the scooter to go to the muster drill, figuring to get used to it. After the drill I knew the deal, set up in front of an elevator and just wait for that one. I got on the elevator going forward so I could back out when my floor was reached. A group of people (non english speaking) got in behind me. I only had to go one floor. The elevator stopped I said "excuse me getting off" to deaf ears ( I didn't know there was a horn or I would have used it loudly) . They would move to let me off. To make matters worse they wanted to go down instead of up so they rode the elevator to the top and then down. They didn't understand me asking to press my floor. So I bypassed my floor again. They got off on the deck 3. And some got on that pressed the button for me. My wife walked up the stairs and wondered what took so long. The scooter stayed in the room (as a clothes horse) the rest of the trip.
One pet peeve I have is with people (usually kids) pushing the close door button as soon as the doors open. It's almost like they had a place to be and 10 seconds would make them late. If there is nobody waiting there it's one thing but it people are waiting for others to get off and some clown is pressing the door close button I will tell them off. Or hold the door open with my hand.

Can someone tell me what the Royal Caribbean Club Royale Rewards Program is? I received an e-mail telling me I'm a member now but this was the first I heard of it. TIA...
You can go on their webpage casinoroyaleoffers.com fill in you last name and crown and anchor number. And it will let you know. Their phone lines are almost impossible to get through.

My wife and I got ours today also.

You will have to knock. Royal's IT dept could never fix it so your key would only work during dinner hours.

So Prime cruise is available to use now?
Awesome
I booked an Ovation cruise to use for our prime cruise. The final payment date was 4/13/19. I called and they extended the final payment date till Thursday 4/18/19. Telling me that they would have it completed by then.
We will see.

In 2011 they converted to the current points system. One point should be converted to 7 nights at sea/points

They told me they weren't going to post any tier offers until they were done calculating all of them.
They should have had the ones that were way over the 2500 point minimum in the system and ready to go. The worst case scenario. would be someone barely makes it to the next level.

I finally got them to give me the deposits back. It took a while though!
We are going to go on this cruise whether they give it to us or we have to pay for it. Already booked the airfare. They did tell me if I cancelled I would lose the deposit. But once I make final payment they can't refund it for the free cruise.
They really should get their act together a little better. I can understand if you have around the minimum 2500 points to wait and verify. But my wife has 20,000 and I have 16,000. So I honestly don't understand why they couldn't have them ready on April 2, 2019

I had booked the Ovation for July 12, 2019. To use as my Prime free cruise. I was told as long as final payment was not paid I could apply the free cruise and use the deposit for the taxes and fees. The final payment day is today. Already booked the airfare etc. so one way or another this cruise was going to happen.
I called Club Royale yesterday. They were very nice and helpful with my predicament. After 2 long talks to supervisors. The person told me they would extend my final payment 5 days (04/18/2019). And were confident the free cruise would be available by then.

Nope, Oasis would have had a problem getting under the bridge. The stacks were meant to be down only for the Great Belt Bridge passing and to my knowledge have never been down since.
I'll have to check on that I thought they brought it in once to show it off with a VIP cruise. But I could be wrong. Peter the HD told me the stacks work. When we were talking about her going the NY. But we agreed the ocean conditions out of NY harbor were not agreeable to the Oasis class.

No, she was not.
Didn't Royal bring her in to Bayonne for a short cruise? When it first came out? No revenue just comps.
-
One other factor is the design of the Oasis. She's really not made for the weather between NY and Hatteras. The earlier they start sailing the worse the weather will be (on the average)

So do points keep accumulating from cruise to cruise?
Yes. The points accumulation year for Club Royale starts on Apr 1 and finishes on March 31.
Everyone's points start at zero on April 1.

Royal has a dining venue called My Time Family Dining. They promise to have the kids fed and off to Adventure Ocean in 45 minutes. So the adults can enjoy the dining experience. This may be why there are no earlier spots.

Diamond and D+ still get priority boarding.... why are you "missing" it?I think the OP is talking about the security check. In Port Canaveral. There is no priority line for security check for Diamond, Diamond+ . Only a special line for Suites, Pinnacles, and the Key program.
Once you get upstairs there are priority lines.

CR told me yesterday that e mails will go out April 8 and no Prime offers until then.
I'm still waiting for last years emails. Even though I already used the free cruises

I called yesterday and they gave me a week long extension on our final payment. Fingers crossed they have the certificates available by the 13th!
When I talked to them they told me even if I made final payment they would refund the money. But I don't trust much of what is told over the phone. If available I'll switch to a Non Refundable rate ($1000 less) and see what happens. My plan has been to upgrade from an inside to a balcony and pay the difference. Already booked the airfare, hotel and car. So we are going just hoping our "free cruise" doesn't turn out to be our most expensive ever.

I was told yesterday we would not be able to apply our Prime cruises until at LEAST April 8 but that it will probably be later than that. It sucks becuase I was planning to use them on the OVATION July 5 cruise I have booked but final payment is due 4/6. They told me to call on the 6th to see what they could do.
On a side note, it appears they may have lifted the ban on other offers to Canadians. I received the summer sizzle offer. I did not know about it but I happened to see H19SUM3 on my offers page so I called. Hubby had the same offer. I had not seen an email but I searched my email and it went to junk then got deleted. Hubby did not get an email. The first person I talked to told me it was two free cruises for two so I said I would call back when we decided which cruises. When I called back to book back to back 5 nights on the Majesty, I was told it was Free for 1 and a discount for person 2. It still would have been almost $1400 USD for the two 5 nights so we decided instead to combine our offers and book the 8/25 Liberty sailing.
We are hoping to use the Prime free cruise for the Ovation July 12. They told me to book a refundable deposit to hold an inside room. So that's what I did. But the price is more than a balcony (non refundable). We have another week to go hopefully they will get this one right. There are 3 non refundable inside guarantees left. So on final payment day I hope to switch it a pay for it, and hope Casino Royale gets it right.

Yes they do. We have been on the Oasis 10 times in the last year (22 times total). We stay in touch with a lot of the crew via social media.😛

Color of the card has nothing to do with it. How do they know it's you if they don't check? They're just doing their jobs.
White cards are issued to pinnacle club members. No one else gets white cards.
Unless you are suggesting that someone would allow another passenger to use their sea pass card.
Plus most if not all of the servers, know us by name and what our drink preference is.

What are they using to swipe the card? I don’t recall any register or point of sale machine in the Oasis DL.
When we use a voucher in a ship bar, the card is swiped in the point of sale devise used for purchases.

They set it up on the March 17 cruise. It was up and running on March 24. It was was against the wall next to where the toaster is set up in the mornings
Our card was white. So no need for any checking to verify whether we were eligible to be there.
Casino points required for comp cruise

Some people earn a lot of points. On a 7 nighter a friend earned 8800 points. So I'm sure he could get to 4400 on a shot cruise.
My wife and I earn between 400 and 2000 per cruise. We always make it to their Prime category. Free inside cabin (they allow to upgrade) and free drinks in the casino, there's an internet deal but we get free Voom anyway.
