I use my pocket or a small wristlet as I also carry my phone. It's my camera. I hate lanyards personally but many people on board use them.

The most we've tipped our steward extra is $100. The least is $20. Just depends. We do not remove our auto gratuities.

I'd do it if I didn't have to fly in. I've done a 4 day and it wasn't bad. It was just short. But I got my fix!

No one will notice or care if you wear the same thing twice

I've sailed Breeze twice and I assure you there's no Alchemy. I wish.

In St. Kitts look into Thedford Grey's tours. He's wonderful. In St. Maarten we like to rent a car and drive to Maho Beach and watch the planes. After that we drive to the French side of the island and eat at this little bar on the beach.
Congrats on your wedding!

.... Did I say my experiences were the only ones that counted? I thought I was fairy gentle.....

No. But you did say my experiences didn't happen... Never said you weren't gentile either. Also saying nothing you say will impact me.

No, it doesn't. Does it make any sense at all? No. Does it even seem feasible? No Have I experienced the same ship? Yes.
Now, if you are telling me that some getup early to get a special seat... I could buy that. Does anyone at all have to do it to get a chair in serenity? 100% wrong. Don't show up at 11 and expect to be at the pool, but that is just common sense. We can discuss more if you like.

Well goodness! You sure told me! I apologize, I didn't realize your experiences were the only ones that were actuality. You really put me in my place! [emoji57]

We have been on the Sunshine twice, and 33 cruises on Carnival ships and never saw anyone sleeping in chairs to save them, think I will hit the BS button on this one.
You can hit any button you like. I was there, you weren't. Just because you didn't experience something happening in 33 cruises doesn't make it BS.

:confused::confused::confused: for a lounge chair? the scary part of this is some of these people reproduce....going to an extreme for a lounge chair....unbelievable
Yup. For any chair in Serenity. It was disappointing. That ship was so crowded.

I was on that cruise. I got sick on the 7th day with no appetite. Came home and had no energy at all and no appetite for 3 weeks. Lost 15 lbs. A lot of folks from the fb page were in the hospital with flu or pneumonia. Did you get sick?
We did not. I know lots of people from the FB group did.

There are no car rentals physically at the port but there are shuttles for them. We waited nearly an hour for Avis in April when we debarked the Sunshine.
I understand wanting to Fast Pass, but Disney is close to an hour away. I wouldn't risk missing the ship and would book the excursion thru Carnival because remember you've got to drop off the car after and make your way back to the port. If you book thru Carnival they'll guarantee you'll make the ship. I'm a huge advocate for outside excursions but this one is risky. We just did Disney for a day in April before our cruise.

The only complaint I have about Breeze is the floor in the buffet is soooooo slippery. Sunshine on the other hand, I could go on all day.
Food is subjective so I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it. I avoid the buffet as much as possible.

We always pre pay because we just like to have it out of the way and just factor it into the cost of the cruise. Not sure why it matters if they're pre paid or not tho.

Lip balm and travel sized bottles of sunscreen

We use gift cards every cruise and have no issues loading them at check in. Every time we've used the kiosk they've showed a zero balance and we have to go to guest services. Just do it at check in and avoid the hassle

It's a super clean ship. It's also a super old ship. If you're a ship snob it's not for you. It was our first cruise on 2014 and did the trick and got us addicted to cruising.

Yes. We pay our deposit with a cc and buy gift cards for the balance to earn fuel perks. We also buy gift cards and apply them toward our on board account.

I buy reusable plastic luggage tag holders on Amazon.

I tip $5 every time

Enjoy the Breeze! We've sailed her twice and love it.
Check out Fat Jimmy's C-Side BBQ on sea days if you like BBQ. Also, the ropes course is awesome. Have a wonderful cruise! We took our first one in April 2014 and will be taking our 7th in October. They're addicting!

It'd be nice if they gave more points to those who book suites, balconies, Havana Cabanas, etc.

To confirm bed bugs, did you actually check the bed for them or assume they were there? We check every bed in every hotel and ship as soon as we get there as bed bugs are hitchhikers and will travel home with you. Hopefully they didn't get into your belongings.

That's a great itinerary. We did that on the Breeze in September. In St. Kitts, look up Thedford Grey's tours. He's amazing. In St. Maarten we always rent a car from Coastal and drive to Maho Beach and then go to the French side of the island. Grand Turk is a beach day for us, consider walking down to Jack's Shack where it's a little less crowded. San Juan is meh. We just walk around Old San Juan and shop and drink. Have a great cruise and congrats on your marriage!

Cucumber Sunrise from Alchemy or Kiss on the Lips if I'm poolside. We always get a Fun Ship when we board.
