  1. We had a cove on the Breeze. It was ok, but I'm not sure if book one again. The biggest pro was coming back from port and being able to just go up a flight of stairs and get to the room quickly. We did not like being so far from Lido deck. I also would have preferred to have more sun. It wasn't bad, just not our favorite.

We had 2298 below Blush and only heard noise a couple times. Just don't book under the galley.

  2. I don't get these comments about Royal's crowd being "much older" than Carnival. I've cruise several times on both of these cruise lines since the 1990's (Platinum on both) and I've found the age and demographics to be almost identical. Main difference that I've noticed is that Royal seems to attract a more international crowd while Carnival seems to attract a more local crowd. But age wise, I still haven't found a considerable difference. More subdued on Royal? Yes. Older? No.

Agree 100%. Definitely an international crowd, and not overrun with old folks.

  3. I should have said: Carnival Triumph 5 day cruise with balcony

or the R.C. Liberty of the Seas 7 day cruise- interior room.

    and We don't drink.

I would do this trip with my daughter (16) . Not sure which.

I have done research on Carnival and no research yet on R.C.

Very similar ports.. just the R. C. is 7 days.

I am not excited about the party/dance scene that might be going on on Carnival.

But I love a balcony so much!!

    Thanks for input!

We love Liberty OTS. If you go with RC, try to book a promenade interior. They look at the inside promenade of the ship. They're nice rooms and it's better than having no windows at all. I'd also take a 7 day over a 5 day even if it was an inside room.

  4. From everything I have read, the shuttles do not leave until they are full.

There are numerous shuttle services from MCO to Port Canaveral (and vice versa) and most are quicker and cheaper.

Cancel your Carnival shuttle, go to the Port Canaveral boards and pick a better choice.

I know. I've done research and normally wouldn't use the Carnival shuttle. This is our best option for this port and this trip.

  5. We are taking he Carnival shuttle to Port Canaveral from MCO in April. Does anyone know how many runs the shuttle makes and if it l just leaves when it's full or does it leave at scheduled times? I'm getting conflicting answers from Carnival and wondered if anyone had experience with this. We will be taking the Magical Express from our Disney hotel to the airport and I'm not sure what time we will arrive.
