We had a cove on the Breeze. It was ok, but I'm not sure if book one again. The biggest pro was coming back from port and being able to just go up a flight of stairs and get to the room quickly. We did not like being so far from Lido deck. I also would have preferred to have more sun. It wasn't bad, just not our favorite.
We had 2298 below Blush and only heard noise a couple times. Just don't book under the galley.

Sapphire, mid ship, lower level.

I have a PayPal debit card I can use. Otherwise I don't know useless the retailer you're buying them from takes PayPal

Cucina is great on embarkation day. It's always empty as everyone else heads for Guy's or the buffet. Later in the week people discover it and it gets busier.

We rent a car when we have a late flight. Luggage is stored easily and not out of your possession and you can go do whatever you want. It's usually inexpensive and you drop your car right off at the airport.

I don't like chocolate at all and I love the chocolate melting cake!

do you pay for guys burgers?
Nope!

I'm not a huge burger fan, I maybe have one once or twice a year but I love Guy's! So good! They're the devil!

I might not sail certain ships, but wouldn't cut Carnival all together. Why be loyal to a company that isn't loyal to you? I love trying other lines

We thought Atlantis was a dump. Maybe it'd be different if we were staying there, but we were extremely unimpressed. It was filthy and deteriorating.

I never had issues with the hub app on Breeze. You're assigned a chat ID (different from your folio number) and you have to request that person and they accept you before you can chat.

We booked 30 days out once. Got an amazing deal for an inside room. Airfare worked out as well. We've always had a balcony but we made the sacrifice happily.

I don't get these comments about Royal's crowd being "much older" than Carnival. I've cruise several times on both of these cruise lines since the 1990's (Platinum on both) and I've found the age and demographics to be almost identical. Main difference that I've noticed is that Royal seems to attract a more international crowd while Carnival seems to attract a more local crowd. But age wise, I still haven't found a considerable difference. More subdued on Royal? Yes. Older? No.
Agree 100%. Definitely an international crowd, and not overrun with old folks.

I always participate in Quest! Of our team of 15, only 4 of us participated. I wish people would participate though instead of just sitting there. Or at least move to the back. We still managed 3rd place though.

I should have said: Carnival Triumph 5 day cruise with balcony
or the R.C. Liberty of the Seas 7 day cruise- interior room.
and We don't drink.
I would do this trip with my daughter (16) . Not sure which.
I have done research on Carnival and no research yet on R.C.
Very similar ports.. just the R. C. is 7 days.
I am not excited about the party/dance scene that might be going on on Carnival.
But I love a balcony so much!!
Thanks for input!

We love Liberty OTS. If you go with RC, try to book a promenade interior. They look at the inside promenade of the ship. They're nice rooms and it's better than having no windows at all. I'd also take a 7 day over a 5 day even if it was an inside room.

$95 is not bad at all! Thanks!

Anyone done it? How much is it?

We are not coffee snobs by any means, but we can't even drink the coffee Carnival serves. It's rancid. I bring instant packets which are still awful but better than Carnival coffee.

Depending on the ship you can text via the Hub app.

I do not give much attention to cruise ship reviews online. I probably would find negative reviews about the Carnival Vista.
That made me lol. People are already complaining about the Havana Cabanas. At least wait until the ship is built!

Just the Vista.

From everything I have read, the shuttles do not leave until they are full.
There are numerous shuttle services from MCO to Port Canaveral (and vice versa) and most are quicker and cheaper.
Cancel your Carnival shuttle, go to the Port Canaveral boards and pick a better choice.
I know. I've done research and normally wouldn't use the Carnival shuttle. This is our best option for this port and this trip.

We are taking he Carnival shuttle to Port Canaveral from MCO in April. Does anyone know how many runs the shuttle makes and if it l just leaves when it's full or does it leave at scheduled times? I'm getting conflicting answers from Carnival and wondered if anyone had experience with this. We will be taking the Magical Express from our Disney hotel to the airport and I'm not sure what time we will arrive.

I walk a lot and always take the stairs down and up if I'm going less than 6 flights. I eat whatever but I'm not a big eater or snacker.
