Meijer carries them

I've sailed Royal twice. (Allure and Liberty OTS) We prefer Royal ships but Carnival atmosphere.

 

I was also on the recent sailing of the Sunshine others have mentioned. Fortunately, we didn't get sick but I've never been so happy to get off a ship. Not a good experience at all.

We always apply them at check in. Never had an issue and never had to visit guest services to do it.

We brought fruit back on board in Curaçao

I believe they let someone I know on with Crocs, but you'll want something that's going to be really secure on your foot. I do the ropes several times every cruise and I wouldn't ever attempt it in crocs. They also may be slippery against the rope/metal platforms.

I hot glue a magnet to the back of mine and stuck them on the fridge.

It's about time. It's the worst to have to go on a witch hunt to find your photos. Not to mention all of the wasted paper

Oasis, hands down. I sailed Allure and nothing will ever top it. Agreed you're going for the ship, not the ports. It's amazing.

I've been on both ships. Breeze twice, Liberty OTS once. We prefer RC ships, but Carnival atmosphere. You can't go wrong with either. I love Royal's Freedom class.

Has anyone tried or been able to get money out of one of the kiosk when Carnival Gift Cards are the only thing deposited to your S&S card? Or get cash from GS?

 

 

Yes. It would only allow us to get $15. Guest services said if we need cash to get it out from the ATM with our debit card. Best bet is casino. Buy chips at a table and cash them out. It's what we had to do.

I had 2298 on Breeze. It was under the dining room and we only heard a little noise once.

Just off the Sunshine Saturday and they wouldn't let us get cash out. We also funded with gift cards. Go to a table, buy chips, play a hand and cash out at the cage. They do charge 3%.

I'm personally not a huge fan of the coves because of the location, but try a family harbor! They look awesome!

Hopefully nothing goes wrong. I just got off the Sunshine Saturday and we had to stop in Nassau to evacuate a crew member who had a stroke and then we had to slow down overnight due to rough seas. We were supposed to dock at 8 and we pulled up around 9:30. I was luggage tag 8 and got off the ship at noon.

We were on the Sunshine and we also had a medical evacuation. We stopped in Nassau to let them off. The ship was rolling all night and we docked around 9:30 am. You guys beat us back.

 

I heard the passenger on your ship passed away. Ours had a stroke.

What did you do in Aruba and Curaçao? We are going in August with our two kids. The wife and I spent a week in Aruba at the RUI and it was great.

 

 

In Curaçao we just walked around town. We found a bar and had a couple drinks. In Aruba we did the Mi Dushi snorkeling excursion. Best excursion we've ever done. Hit 3 spots, one over a shipwreck which was a huge military ship. We had an awesome lunch and open bar after.

Yeah, we were group 34 on our luggage tag. We were part of the last 30-40 ppl to leave the ship. Then had to drive 12+ hours home. I got in bed at 3am. [emoji43][emoji42]

I was tag 8 and we got off around noon.

Glad you had a great time. I'm waiting to debark as well. I have some different feelings about the ship, but the ports were great. First time for us in Aruba and Curaçao but our third time in Grand Turk. We'd like to go back to Aruba for a week.

On Sunshine now. We had a medical evacuation in Nassau. With the delay and rough seas, we had to slow down last night and will be late to Canaveral this morning. We are supposed to be back around 9:30. We woke up about 3:30 am from the ship rocking so hard. I had to hang on in the shower

Boarding Sunshine today

I'm in the minority by not loving the coves. They're very nice and I like being close to the water, but hated being on deck 2. It's so far away from everything. Also, they get no sun. The positive thing is coming back from port, you just zip up the stairs and you're close to your room. I'd book one again, but only if the other balconies were sold out. Just make sure you're not under the galley as others have said.

I love Carnival as well. Allure of the Seas is my favorite ship. It's incredible. Enjoy your cruise.
