This afternoon after lunch we came back to the cabin and ended up taking a nap 😴 Unfortunately we work up just a few minutes ago a little to late to get ready for dressy night so decided we would just go to the Lido. So I am going to let you decided if you want to Dine in the Main Dining Room or go Casual in Lido and pick what you would like to eat.

Good Evening from the Holland America MS Koningsdam, today was an everyday for Tom and I, we were awarded our 300 Day Silver Medallions the event was held in BB Kings There were only 3 of us getting Medallions the other lady was at 306 days and Tom and I at 303 days. At the reception they recognized Presidents Club with one couple I recognized from past cruises with 3199 days and stating they were staying on board till end of January so will have a lot more. Hopefully I will get the pictures they took later tonight.

I don’t as just going to check cruisedeckplansdotcom as well, I hav always found them pretty accurate.

Here is pictures of breakfast, Tom had the Biscuits and gravy. He said it was the same as on the Alaska Westerdam Brunch. They actually need someone’s Southern Grandma in the galley teaching them how to make biscuits 😂

Came back to the dining room for breakfast, there were s always a line but it moves extremely fast. they again had specials this morning. So far the specials remind me of many of the items that were offered when they served the Brunch.

I will try it is down the hall from except port side we will have to catch it when a cabin steward is cleaning though. I do know there are some staterooms that do have a view between life boats and straight on view is non obstructed but life boats are still very visible.

I had the Sushi and Tom had the Coconut Shrimp not not on a Salad just the coconut shrimp 😂 We both had Prime Rib but Tom’s very plain with Baked Potato then I had the Chocolate Puff Pastry and Tom had the Vanilla Ice Cream of course we each had a glass of Chateau Ste Michelle Riesling and I had coffee.

Good morning from the MS Koningsdam. We were to have done a 6 and a half hour bus tour today that was our free cruise with HIA, we would need to get up at 6 this morning. When the alarm went off I decided to just for go it. Tom had already hinted he would want to do that yesterday. So I turned off the alarm and went back to sleep. We ended up going to the Dutch Cafe getting some coffee and a bite to eat.

Ok for our orders, we both had a class of Chateau Ste Michelle Riesling. We both had a Caesar Salad I ordered the Flat Iron Steak Chimichurri which and Tom had the NY Strip Loin Steak and fries. Dessert he had a hot fudge sundae and I had the No sugar added Almond Cake. Surprisingly the Flat Iron Chimichurri Steak was delicious!!

It’s that time of day, Tuesday Night what do you wan to order from tonight’s menu. 😃

We are back on the ship, we had taken Lyft down to pier 47 old Fisherman’s Wharf actually a bit past there and walked back to the ship pier 27. Almost 10k steps today so far.

After going through the Immigration which was quick and easy if you have a passport we took off to Fisherman’s Wharf. We took Lyft around pier 45 and working our way to 39. Stopped for lunch at Bistro Boudin, ver good Sour Dough Bread

Tom went out to the bow at 6:15 since they opened it for viewing. I stay in bed till a little later and got up to get these photos of coming into San Francisco and going under the Golden Gate Bridge .

Ok to let you know what we had. To be honest Tom was not that hungry because he went to the Lido for lunch twice, one with just himself and later with me. Actually I am fighting a cold I am feeling better tonight but I slept for a few hours after breakfast So by the time we had early dining neither of us were very hungry Tom skipped starter and I had the jumbo shrimp cocktail, then we both had the filet and shrimp newburg. For dessert neither of us cared for the options so I asked what sorbets they had. Not on the menu but we had watermelon sorbet.

Monday Dressy night on Holland America Line Koningsdam What would order for dinner this evening ?

Actually our table for 2 early dining has worked great. We have a very good server been with HAL 20 years.
