technically you'll be there more in early June & you will more than likely have very warm to hot weather, but I'd still prepare for rain or cool weather....  for myself, in warm weather travel I have two long silk skirts, one navy, with slits on the sides, and the other a ver dark grey, with a slit up the front,   I pair these with cropped (but not skin showing) linen knit tank tops... these are my summer "go to"  I've got a few from JCrew, Banana Republic, etc.    Throw a linen or thin cotton ruana in your bag for entering churches & Cathedrals.   Also longer sleeveless sundresses work well, with a ruin in your bag for churches.  In more "beachy" towns, like say, Nice  or Antibes,  I'll wear linen shorts.

Shoe wise that time of year I'm either wearing birks or even my Nike flyknits with socks... yes I'll wear them with dresses.

I always travel with several hats...  gotta keep the sun off your face.  My favorite is the Tilley TH9...  I own 3 of them lol

this is the hat, & i'm wearing linen shorts, a graphic tee, & my cargo jacket that goes with me no matter what time of year I'm traveling:IMG_7424.thumb.jpg.2b0431fd4d1d0dba60d14b5486e753f1.jpg

Edit to add:  I'm sorry, I have no idea why this picture is so giant!!!  I meant it to be tiny.

  2. My fiance and I are going on a 10 day cruise out of Rome in May for our honeymoon. We fly into Rome a day early to explore before the ship leaves at night.

    1. How much is a taxi from FCO(Airport) to Rome? Is it cheaper to take the bus or train? Is the transportation safe and easy to use?

    2. How much is a taxi from Cititavecchia (Port) to FCO(Airport)? Is there a bus from the port to the airport?

3.. Where should we stay in Rome? We will be going to see the Vatican and the Colosseum

4.. Recommendations for great food that is not too touristy and Americanized.

    Thank you!

  3. Was the rash on the same side as the dolphins when you swam with them? Do you recall rubbing against any rocks or coral? Has it gone away? Scabbed over?

The rash is on the same side of my body but I don't remember if the dolphins touched that side of the body. Its weird because no one in my party got this

It hasn't gone away or scabbed over its even darker red more like a burn?

Ive read a couple post that when you touch a time or lime juice in the sun and touch your body it burns.

  4. wondering if anyone else had this issue. When we came back to the boat after the dolphin excursion my leg had a large rash and my arm. It’s strange because it’s only on one side of the body. Wasn’t sure if anyone else got a rash in Mexico!

  5. For PCs, Adobe Premier Elements is an excellent movie editing program with a wide variety of tutorials and how-tos available on YouTube. You can pick it up on Amazon for about $70 or $99 with Photoshop Elements photo editing software in a bundle.

  6. Sorry for the delay in responding, we just got back from a Southern Caribbean cruise. Feel free to subscribe to my youtube channel if you want to get a notification of my next cruise video. http://www.youtube.com/reelfocus

As others have kindly responded on my behalf, they are correct. I used iMovie for years and I am now currently using Final Cut Pro X. :)

I can’t wait to watch! Hope you enjoyed your cruise! Wish we had a MAC :(

  7. OP said she used iMovie for years, but now uses Final Cut Pro X. Look on GoPro's website, they have editing software called Quik. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that some of the high-end software does, but it might work for you. If you're looking to try something out for free, just do a Google search for free video editing software.

Thank you ! We will have to look I to this !

  8. We just got back from a fabulous cruise onboard the NCL Escape. Typically I bring my more expensive gear to shoot photos and video with, but this time I wanted to keep things simple. All I had was a GoPro Hero 5, Karma Grip, Jaws Clamp, Suction Cup and a 3 way mount. Take a look and let me know what you think! :)

Thank you for Sharing! If you don't mind me asking where do you edit your videos! We just got the new Hero 5, but never used a editing system to make videos like this!

    Thanks
