  1. Hi Zorky,

Chances are that you will have no problem. You will get what you paid for. Obviously most people are happy with their purchases, or there would have been a general hue and cry as opposed to occasional people that have issues and don't know where to turn.

To the point that I made in an earlier post, you will be bring this ring to a local jeweler who you "trust" to evaluate. Why on earth would you not have gone first to this person to make the actual purchase? If you had second thoughts the next day, you would just have to turn around and return it.

Now look at what you are saying. Maybe have to sue somebody, and complain to everyone, sounds like lots of fun. Stop reading this stuff that is making you sick. In the future if you are not sure of what you are buying you shouldn't be buying it.

    I 100% totally agree...

People PLEASE stop buying these really great deals!.. there really are not.. all your saving in most cases is just the tax . DW loves Tanzanite...you want a REAL education.. try buying it..

also w today's internet.. if you really do see something you like. snap a pic.. (as I have done), and send it to your jeweler.. you will be taken care of better, and happier in the end..

  2. Offerings for my Carnival cruise have nothing matching the rays, reef and Rum Point tour. Lots of reef and rays tours. Some tours with lunch somewhere. The unique aspect is the Rum Point lunch. Maybe that’s just not showing up on my sailing.

Following this because I have a similar question with our sailing. 4:00 departure (meaning 3:30 last tender).

Sent from my iPad using Forums

    rum point/stingrays tour...info :)

  3. My daughter and son in law are insisting on bringing our 13 month old on a cruise. They will be sailing in march from San Juan on Carnival. Has anyone ever done this? What should they expect?

Very little free time....in the room by 8pm every night. limited excursions. (very limited beach time-heat/sun) sorry, lived it.. NEVER again ...went on a bus tour w a crying infant,, what a great Time!

DW and I have always wondered why people bring infants on cruises.

yet people do...they never look relaxed

  4. The cards have been available every day for a couple months now since Verizon did away with their points rewards and no longer sell the Carnival gift cards. Now AARP and Allstate constantly have them in stock.

Allstate has these cards..but you must enroll in there "safe driving" program.

this is where they have you download an app...which tells them how you drive, how hard you brake, if you are speeding... NO THANK YOU! dont need big brother in my car, not to save a few bucks..

  5. Thanks. While I'm not a resident like Drew Sailbum, we do own a house at Rum Point (where I'm currently typing this from) and thus spend a lot of time there.

quick question for you w your info

DW and I have been to GC several times before..(7 mile etc.)

DW wants to do the Stingrays ONE more time...sigh..

but only excursion we are offered through Carnival that does this, and ends up on a beach, goes to Rum pt. We have never been to this particular beach.. should we try it?

I was just going to do the "rays".. get back to the port, then catch a cab, to 7 mile..

    all about time :')

    trust your comments tks

    chris

  6. I must admit I'm curious as heck. How long will it have been since your divorce and remarriage? This is amazing and outside of La La Land very rare indeed.

LOL.. DW and I will be celebrating 35 yrs..

I never gave her the wedding she wanted..I was in the Marines, 19, and shipping out to Japan.

She was 17, and pregnant.. we got married in Los Vegas, at "The Little Chapel of the Flowers".

5 kids later, still in love, and enjoying our new freedom....:D

keep up if you all can!! lol

  7. I assume because she is already your wife you are just renewing your vows and don't need marriage licenses and all that. Since you aren't going to half moon cay you don't really need an ordained minister or anything. I would just google the ports you are going to and renew vows and see what stuff pops up. You can do it on a beach and can have your best man and bridesmaid say whatever you want to say. Because its a surprise she won't be able to prepare her own vows but she can't speak from the heart. Either way it goes you don't need all the legal stuff which should make it more fun.

    So, here is my update..

above makes the most sense for me..I have one of two choices..

either on Formal night when we are dressed.. (Yes, my wife still has me in a tux.. after 10 cruises' but hey, always ends happy!;p) we can go to the chapel, etc, and do something small. Or go out on to the Islands' and find a romantic spot, (which there are plenty of). Getting closer guys! tks again for the input

  8. DW really likes the Tanzanite stone. Where is the best Island to purchase this.

From what I have seen in my travels, the prices do vary on items.

I have purchased from the cruise ships, but selection is limited

also realize buyer beware. but have always wondered if certain locations were better than others

for this stone. what say Ye.. tks chris

  9. I will be cruisin' Feb'18 on the Glory. I wanted to surprise my wife of 35yrs' by getting remarried. I just looked up what Carnival is asking...and about fell off my chair. I am going to Grand Cayman/Isle of Rotaan/Belize/Cozumel. might have to find a local church on an Island.

Has anyone else had to deal w this? open to suggestions. My best man and bridesmaid will be there from 35 yrs ago.. pretty cool! :D

  10. I was there last Feb '16. water was so rough, we could not tender in..

    was VERY disappointed.

my question is, we were told then, that there were plans that had just been approved,

for a "new" multi ship port facility.

have not read/seen any mention of this...

what is the status of this construction?

I will be heading back there next Feb. '18

    tks all clear.png?emoji-grin-1677
