Thank you all for these responses. To take it a step further, are all the cabins/balconies the same on each deck? In other words if you pick deck 7, is there one non handicapped cabin “better” than others? Or are they all the same?

Trying to choose a stateroom - sunset veranda- on deck 7 or 8 on Millennium. Is there any reason to choose one deck over another , and further, any particular cabin on those decks?

Updating: This is not a computer glitch. NCL sent out a notice saying the cruise was changed from a 5 day to a 4 day - dropping San Francisco, essentially making this a one way - all sea days - trip from LA to Vancouver. Then my online account showed it to be a 3 day cruise. Now parts of it show it to be back to a 5 day, and some parts of my account show it to be a 4 day...departing while at sea. And the ability to make a payment no longer is an option. Not sure what is going on and I'm getting the run around from NCL. Roll call members also have no insight. And it still does not show up on the NCL website, nor on outside TA sites. It's just vanished. I sure don't know what to make of this...how long do I hang in there vs just cancelling and finding another cruise and/or cruise line for our trip? Really disappointed in NCL. Even their notice isn't making sense vs what I'm seeing in my online account.

I collect them as well. We’ve had to go back and get some from places we’ve been - via eBay. Sometimes they’re hard to find- or sold out. If that’s the case, check eBay.

We are booked on a 5 day May 1-6 Encore cruise booked - Pacific Coastal. Starting in LA, ending in Vancouver. I just checked it Sunday night and was looking at other cabins (debating to switch). Checked it yesterday - Monday - and now can't find the cruise at all. Sunday - there were TONS of cabins available, so it can't realistically be sold out. Called NCL today, and at first she told me it's sold out. Makes no sense. When I told her there were tons of available cabins the day prior, she then said, it's still scheduled and she sees no info on displacement of it. I'm still seeing it listed in my account on NCL. I've received no emails from NCL saying its been cancelled... This cruise ends in Vancouver on the 6th. I'm seeing Encore sailing the 7th out of Seattle. Would they move an empty ship from Vancouver to Seattle? What most likely is going on with this sailing? Will it be cancelled, reconfigured with different ports to end up in Seattle? What has happened in this situation in the past? Anyone venture a guess? It's disappointing...we've lined up both of our jobs around this cruise - it took some doing to get it done too. Ugh.

Another question! Or two , or three 😉… Which balcony deck is more covered? 9 or 12? (We prefer a more covered deck) When you say it’s a slightly deeper deck on 9 vs 12… how slight? Does each deck contain the same outdoor furniture?

It’s my understanding the Amtrak train will be starting back up again in Sept between Vancouver and Seattle. I can’t seem to find any info on a possible train schedule. Does it run in the morning FROM Vancouver TO Seattle? We are ending a cruise in Vancouver and for various reasons we’d like to be back in Seattle by early afternoon the day we disembark.

I just booked Encore - aft 9922 …. Was this the best choice for the aft cabins or is this one of the narrow ones due to it being next to a HA room? There are two cabins on deck 12 still available 12312 or 12908. Should I stick with 9922 or switch to deck 12?

When we sailed with celebrity to Russia, X didn’t collect our passports- we kept them with us the whole time as we had to go through customs to and from the ship each time.

Is any part of the balcony covered?

Is Edge class sunset balconies tiered like S class? Where each level can see down to the other levels because they are tiered?

Hi- when does OBC from a TA show on a cruise account? We want to buy a specialty dining package and would rather use OBC rather than pay for it ourselves out of pocket when we know OBC is coming . Thanks

Further, cruises that start and end in the US, people just walk off. No need to test to come back into the USA. Makes absolute no sense at all to target international flights.
