  1. I’m seeing it as a 239 per person per day difference. I can easily add in gratuities separately at a total of 385. So that brings it to a 203.00 per person per day cost for Wi-Fi and drinks.
  2. We hardly drink at all- I do drink coffee or tea but not that much either.
  3. I should clarify - it’s an 11 night cruise I’m pricing out .
  4. What am I missing here? Gratuities are an extra 365.00 total for the room. Not per person. The additional dollars for this all inclusive rate is more than the actual cruise. Am I misunderstanding this?
  5. We just talked to them today- we had a long wait time, but they are definitely answering the phones. Call and straighten this out.
  6. With all the reports of creaking/noisy infinite verandas on Beyond, is it silly to go with an IV guarantee? Are the issues with Beyond so severe that it’s best to hand pick cabins? In this situation, we really don’t care about location of cabin, we just want the best pricing. But I do worry about the noise issues. Is the gamble worth the risk on Beyond?
  7. What is the difference between an “infinite veranda guarantee”. and a “veranda guarantee” ? In this case the “veranda guarantee” is 100.00 cheaper than the infinite veranda guarantee. Ship is Beyond. I understand what a guarantee is but can’t figure out what would be considered a lower value veranda from an infinite veranda.
  8. I’ve got Millennium deck 7 booked in- I’m assuming Summit sunsets are the same? This looks fantastic!
  9. We just sailed on NCL’s Encore in the Haven…hands down the very best suite experience we’ve ever had on a ship. Absolutely incredible and we felt very little desire to come out of the Haven area. NCL’s entertainment tends to be better and can be better suited overall to families. Our personal preference is that we tend to like celebrity’s ships better- they’re more suited to our tastes. I do like NCL’s itineraries sometimes better than Celebrity’s. For a non- Haven, ship experience, we would prefer Celebrity.
  10. What cruise line was this if you don’t mind me asking? Two ports in Egypt sounds fantastic.
  11. Is there a list somewhere of cabins with this issue? Is it certain floors, certain cabin categories? We have a front facing deluxe ocean view booked-9100- and may opt to move to a sunset veranda. Not sure if any of these cabin categories/locations are reporting this issue.
  12. Apparently since it’s fried, these are on the naughty list
  13. We were on 7 on Apex. Yes - one single night we heard music from Eden for about an hour. No biggie. The balconies on 7 are huge. Grab it if you can.
  14. Excellent idea. Anyone have recommendations for a good over the counter kit?
  15. Of all the things posted, I truly don’t understand the fried foods comment. How is seeing others eat fried foods a negative to one’s overall cruise experience?
  16. They just came in the mail. I’ll just print them myself
  17. Question for the Haven experts!! We were booked in a forward facing penthouse and just recently upgraded ourselves to the courtyard. We received in the mail luggage tags for the old location of forward facing penthouse. Do I call them and have new courtyard location ones sent or will they automatically do this since the self-upgrade is fairly recent (within the past week) and they just haven’t caught up in the mailings? Or do I just take care of this correction at the port?
  18. We were on Epic about 7-8 years ago for a Med cruise. Odd ship with odd bathrooms and an odd general layout. It’s not one I’d pick again. Thankfully there were so many ports to visit on that itinerary that it kept us busy. It’s not a memorable ship. I’m glad ncl decided not to repeat that design again. Have to say though- cavern club and howl at the moon were outstanding.
  19. We are one and done on Epic. Sailed it 7 years ago- and yes that bathroom situation is just plain strange. And the ship flow is awkward. But we loved Howl at the Moon and the Cavern Club. Should you ever try another NCL cruise, try one of the newer ones. And book your own airfare. If it helps, other cruise lines get complaints about their airfare program as well. Best to book your own and maintain control over it.
  20. We took deck 17 - 17726 Do you happen to have any balcony pictures? We ended up taking 17726. We are super excited.
  21. Encore. I’m so sorry. I tried to edit, but it didn’t show it as an option to do so.
