  1. Was sad to see this go. It was an at sea day treat for this British expat. At least they seem to be giving up with the pay-for gastro-pub experiment and replacing it with an Irish pub (so I've read) on the Enchanted.
  2. Back in January of this year, they were offering a free t-shirt if you managed to drink the menu and show them all your recipe cards. They were giving out pretty nice recipe cards that included a short blurb on the history of the region the drink represented. It was a pretty fun location on what was a fairly empty ship back in January. If they still have this and you're going to attempt it, make sure you check what size t-shirts they have aboard. All they had left when we did it was size S shirts.
  3. Bemidji - Curious to know if you tried any of the specialty restaurants during your 7 nights and how you found the food there if you did. We cruised with Princess in late January of this year and encountered several disappointing things when compared with numerous previous Princess cruises we had been on. It left a similar bitter taste regarding the brand, but we mostly put it down to staffing shortages and supply chain issues due to covid as they tried to recommission the fleet. Sounds like a couple of those things may still be persisting. We'll get to find out for ourselves as we are on the Discovery later this year!
  4. We are with most here and find the character highly annoying as it always feels forced and like she is trying too hard. Your opinion is going to depend on your personality. Can only recommend you experience the character for yourself and form your own opinion.
  5. I openly admit the following is going to be entirely ship and crewing level dependent, but we sailed the Ruby Princess in January (2022) and had dinner in both the Crown Grill and Sabatini's. Our experience with the Crown Grill was the worst dining experience we have ever had with Princess. Even though we had paid the cover charge, service was so bad that we left before desert, we didn't want to extend that experience anymore. In contrast Sabatini's was EXCELLENT! The staff were attentive, polite, looking to improve your experience at every opportunity. I put this down to the crew being short-handed and Crown Grill being way more patronized than Sabatini's, which lead to the CG staff being exhausted and frustrated. Sabatini's was so good that we went again on a later night. I don't know if staffing situations have changed significantly, but if you see things you like on the Sabatini's menu I would recommend you try the less stressed staff you are likely to find.
  6. Thanks. To help anyone coming into this thread and avoid them spending dozens of minutes browsing through threads - these look to be a later version of menus that are inclusive of plus & premium pricing. The Explorers menu shows a good example of the sorts of splits between Plus & Premium.
  7. You can look over the 2022 drink menus here.
