  1. This came up on another thread. The answers were to call the number for the Captains Club or wait until you get on the ship. Buy it from a bartender you like. They seem to get some benefit from selling upgrades.
  2. I also took a screenshot for the WiFi upgrade. It shows that the language is not the same as the “per guest per day” offer. We are sailing later this month so I’ll report back in three weeks (assuming that the internet is good enough to to log into Cruise Critic 😉)
  3. If the menus on the app represent changes made during the current sailing then you are probably right and the omissions temporary. The steak is still on the Timeless Entrees list on the Celebrity website. And I believe it was listed every night on the app when I first looked at it a month ago. We are traveling with teenagers and my meat-and-potatoes brother-in-law so I was glad to see that a simple steak was an option every night. My suspicion about cost cutting arises from my observation that they are offering the steak on the Timeless Entrees menu three of the nights, but those are the nights they have steak or an equally high cost cut of meat on the menu that changes daily. Here are the menus for two of the nights they have left steak off the Timeless Menu:
  4. I was just looking at the MDR menus for our upcoming cruise on the Solstice, and the steak option seems to have been removed from the Timeless Entrees. Is this another cost cutting measure?
  5. That’s good to know. For me, it is an incentive to upgrade. On our last Celebrity Cruise they gave us a check to sign for the difference every time we exceeded the classic package limit. It seemed like a hassle for the bar tender, especially when they were busy. And the check had a place to add an additional tip and tally it up. Did anyone else feel a tiny bit pressured to add something on top of the 18 % gratuity already automatically added to the extra cost of the drink?
  6. We booked several months ago with a travel agent. The invoice she sent us says that we have all inclusive. But these perks do not show up when I check via the app or Celebrity website. I followed the advice on this thread and this appears for one passenger in our cabin but not for me or the third passenger. Lana is in her 80s and has never logged on the the app or Celebrity’s website. Does anyone know what is going on?
  7. What does it mean when they say at the bottom of the brochure that a “service charge is added to each check”? I haven’t sailed on Celebrity before the pandemic but I do not remember them adding any service charges to drinks that were covered by the beverage package.
  8. Thanks for the information. We are using a travel agent. Should we have her upgrade us? I had thought we would be able do upgrade on the website. How easy is it to call? I mean, are the wait times horrendous? Our last Celebrity cruise was pre-pandemic.
  9. We are booked in a cabin with the all included fare. One of us is fine with beverages in the classic package but the other one likes martinis and the expanded selection of wine. Will we be able to upgrade one of us or do both of us have to upgrade?
