Two weeks ago we were on the Amsterdam and went up Endicott Arm because of ice conditions in Tracy Arm. I can't imagine how Tracy Arm could be any more impressive than Endicott. We were not disappointed.
You would just have to see it to believe it. If I knew how to posts pictures I would show you

Coral & Doug, Yep! I'm hooked now! Best tour we took! Captain Steve & crew was great also!

Just went last week to Tracy Arm Fjord with Adventure Bound. All I can say is OMG I loved it!! Thank you Coral & Doug for telling me where to book this tour!! We got right front and center to the South Sawyer Glacier and North Sawyer. I have never seen ice so blue!! We saw bears, whales, eagles, seal and baby seals they were having their babies right there. I will definitely go back there when we go back to Alaska

Does anyone know where the smoking areas are on the Coral Princess (aside from Churchills)?
Thank you!
Just got off the Coral, smoking area deck 15 Starboard side right pass the Grill it is not covered and when in Alaska it was very cold up there from the wind, only time it was used was when we were docked in ports and Deck 7 Starboard side a little bump in place with nowhere to sit, standing only. Everyone mostly used the Churchill lounge because it was indoors on deck 7 Starboard side

Just got off the Coral yesterday and he was our Captain. He is the nicest person, so down to earth and friendly with everyone. I couldn't tell you who was the Captain on any of the other cruises I've took except seeing picture & name in patter, but he was out and about a lot talking & taking pictures & selfies with passengers. Loved his Bye Bye!

Just got off the Coral yesterday in Whittier no blue bag but I didn't think to ask about them

A couple of more pictures from our Adventure Bound trip. Obviously the large ships cannot maneuver through and around the ice like the smaller boats.

Thank you for sharing your pictures!! We are sailing with Adventure Bound June 13. I am so looking forward this this tour!!

If any of them are the 3rd or 4th person in a cabin, that may be the answer.
I believe they only pay on the 1st and 2nd person in each cabin.
they are not all cabins has 2 people only in them

That made me look at my referrals, I have several families members I have referred but some are saying pending booking (they already booked) and some say pending sailing so I don't get is their all going on the same cruise to AK. Guess I need to call Princess and ask what's up with that. I have 10 family members going on the same AK cruise in July hmmmm

3 ships in port Emerald; Holland ship; & Coral & all using the same lines til we got to the end. I have never seen such lines zigging & zagging everywhere. We have Global too but it made no difference. From airport in a friends car that picked us up to the port & into our cabin was 3 hours!!
Thank you for answering! We board the Coral Saturday in Vancouver with 3 ships in port also.....so I guess well be waiting awhile!

We were on the Coral for a b2b 5-13 northbound & 5-20 southbound. Beware if you are cruising out of YVR Van-BC. Lines were Horrific in BC. We are elite & it still took us over 2 1/2 hrs from check-in to cabin. It was our worst boarding experience ever.
The Coral herself was awesome. Crew is super, sights were great (1-day of rain in 14!).
Eat late seating if you can. 5:15 is 1st; 7:30 is 2nd. If you eat at 5:15 you will miss hours of daylight & scenic cruising. Food in DR was always VG especially if you like seafood.
Questions-----ask though I don't review this more than 1-2 times per week.
In Whittier the Wildlife preserve was awesome!
Why did it take so long to get board the ship in Vancouver? So many people? or not enough Custom people?

Love your video!! Oh gosh I can't believe that bear got on the front of the car!!! That's a little too close for comfort lol but I loved it! Thank you so much we leave on the Coral this weekend :) seeing your video makes me get ever more excited!!

Thank you for your review!! I always look forward to reading yours!! Great pictures too!!

Always note the time stamp on the webcam.
01:23 GMT Sunday Morning is 16:23 Saturday afternoon in Alaska.
So simply a case of the webcam failing to be up to date.
Stick to one of the Marine Traffic websites if knowing a ship's exact position is essential.
Thank you fishywood! Lesson learned the hard way after my heart sinking lol

Where did you find out?
on Facebook, a group I belong to. Here is one of the links they gave me to check

Whew - now start packing!
yeah, I can pack now! Thank goodness for the webcam being wrong!
-
ok, I have found out that the Coral is gone and the webcam was just wrong! shewwww!

I just checked the Princess webcam for the Coral and it's still showing to be in Whittier. They was supposed to have left last night. We are sailing out this Saturday from Vancouver and this is making me nervous!
-
Love the review & pictures! We leave on the Coral next Saturday can't wait!!

What is your port time in Juneau? I am booked with Adventure Bound from Juneau but your ship has to be in port by 8:00 AM to go with them
-
We are booked with Dyea Dave for June 14, so glad everyone liked this tour
-
Thank you for your review! We are taking the Ketchikan Taxi Tour also, glad to hear you enjoyed it!

We did embark in Vancouver. That particular day, we were late leaving Vancouver because there were 4 ships at Canada Place, and the lines to get on the ship were very long.
We were supposed to sail away at 4:30, but we ended up leaving at 8:00.
Thank you!! wow 4 ships that's a lot no wonder, our is a 3 ship day so maybe it will be a little bit better!

We got back from an Alaskan cruise on the 20th! It was our first time in Alaska, and our first time cruising with Princess. We had a fabulous time. Great crew and ship (Coral). Alaska was so beautiful. The weather was great!! Let me know if you have any questions. :)
did you embark in Vancouver? I've have been noticing by Princess webcam that the Coral is late leaving Vancouver everytime? Can you tell me why?
