  1. I know I've read on here before that FB Messenger works with the "Social" plan. I've also read that you can use multiple devices on one plan but can only use one device at a time. Does that mean if my wife and I want to communicate with each other onboard using Messenger, that we would each need to purchase the plan? Also, I know that the plan costs $5 per day, but what is the price for the entire 7 day cruise? Carnival's website mentions a discount but doesn't say how much it is. Thanks!

  2. If you must leave on the 28th, I only see 4 cruises that fit your criteria:

RC Majesty of the Seas - 3 Day Miami to Nassau & CocoCay

Norwegian Sky - 3 Day Miami to Great Stirrup Cay & Nassau

Carnival Ecstasy - 4 Day Miami to Key West & Cozumel

RC Independence of the Seas - 5 Day Ft. Lauderdale to Labadee & Falmouth

cruisetimetables.com is a useful site to search specific departure days/ports.

  3. My flight lands at 8:40...

Correction...Your flight is scheduled to land at 8:40. What will you do if your flight is delayed a couple hours? It may be too late now, but I would NOT have scheduled a transcontinental flight for the morning of the cruise, even without the side trip to the cemetery. I see that this is a 15 day cruise to Hawaii. If you miss the ship, there will likely be no way to catch up to it. Something to think about.

  4. All cabs in Seattle are Toyota Prius.

That is a ridiculous statement. I know I've seen other makes/models driving around Seattle. Maybe you meant just the cabs that serve the airport taxi stand? I guess that's a possibility but still hard to believe that every cab there is a Prius. Also, OP didn't mention if the 3rd person is an adult or a small child. That would certainly make a difference.

We actually flew in 3 days early spent time in Seattle then on the day to leave on our cruise we headed back to the airport and caught the shuttle to the port. Very easy and organized.
Were you staying near the airport? I wouldn't recommend this to anyone staying downtown. A lot of backtracking.
  5. Using Firefox on a Windows laptop - Carnival site looks unchanged from what I've seen for the last several months......

Yeah, same here. Then I tried Internet Explorer, and I do see the new search function. However, you can still get to the old one by selecting "Plan" then

"Find A Cruise" from the menu at the top of the page.

  6. We are cruising in a little over two weeks. Our flight gets in around dinner time after traveling all day from Seattle. I chose the Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon because it seemed to be the most convenient place to stay without a car. There are 2 drug stores, 1 grocery store, and several restaurants, all within a 1 block radius. In the morning, there is a complimentary hot breakfast. It is also the highest rated MIA airport area hotel on Trip Advisor.
