I want a TA, face to face, meet the first time and follow up with phone & emails. I am at the stage where I choose the cabin & fare I am willing to live with- so I am happy to get a price drop, but not counting on it. What I’m trying to get away from are these annoying Princess afflicted people who are constantly after me for upgrades etc. one even booked a cruise without me knowing about it- until I saw it in my personalizer. is there a way to unsubscribe from the emails or calls?

I am leaning towards a local TA, but what if they go out of business and have your booking?

I am only interested in a TA outside of Princess, so no CVP or PVP, because these are the ones who are bothering me. Also, I am Standard fare and probably get more then my share of these unwanted calls etc. Would like to hear more from those who are using a travel agent- not an online or Princess affiliated one.

None of my business or judgement as to what others do about tipping.

My long time travel agent in T.O. retired during the pandemic and I don’t recall getting emails or phone calls promoting packages etc while I booked through her. Since then I’ve booked online and have had several voicemails and emails from Princess associates bothering me. Recently, one sent me an email with my current Booking number. Are those who book through a travel agent ( not Princess ) getting these annoying calls, emails?

The drop off fee? I made a reservation and they added $100 drop off fee. I canceled I made a new reservation for $90 less and there was no drop off fee. corolla wonder if I will be charged the drop off fee in Galveston? IAH-Galveston one day rental

Yep, my assumption as well. I am bothered by my Booking Number being given out and that the email came from Jude ( whom I have never heard from) rather then Victoria Beck who has been bugging me, since the last self appointed planner quit. I have never responded to any of their phone calls or emails.

Exactly. I’ve spent enough energy on this. Princess is looking less appealing to me over the past week.

Who gave my Booking number to Jude? Why does Jude want me to send all documentation for a refund, for the cruise I am boarding in 3 weeks.? This is likely an error or Princess has Contractors trying to get me to purchase a package or Bid for Upgrade. I’ve had emails promoting this all the times I am considering it a scam- not interested in whatever they want. Thanks everyone.

My concern is mention of a refund on a cruise I board in 3 weeks. They asked me to send all documentation and had my booking number. chat has me at 67 ahead of me now.

yes, this is why I alerted others here. my booking is shown in the app and in the personalizer. I have written to Princess. i tried chat. But listen- the phone conversations can mess this up, so I am leaving it for now.

Ok, I let Princess know about this. Cannot get through to chat or phone right now. One other thing- I noticed MedallionClass charge to my credit card yesterday. Order Dec for Feb 18 th cruise. No emails or tracking. Nothing indicated that this is related.

Clue-(Contractor) after their name Other Princess contractors seem to be Princess promotions, Princess Vacation Planners.

So, I do not take phone calls from Princess ie: promotions or CVP. I’m not getting any other weird emails from anyone else. please post if anyone else does.
